So, today was definitely better than yesterday! First thing in the morning, I got a phone call to be invited in a paid study, over the internet, for $200, more if I do good AND they are sending me a video camera to KEEP!! Made my day! Then, I got another phone call for another paid study, the study was full already (why did they even bother calling then???….) But, they are going to “try” and squeeze me in still! I think that will pay $50, I can’t remember though. So, be sure to apply when I find those paid studies, I have made quite a good bunch of money from them, and half the time you can qualify to make more money and get free gifts too.
Now, on to the economy situation.. It is starting to scare me a little bit. Anyone else?? Soooooo many homes are going into forclosure STILL and I really don’t see any end in site for both parties going through this horrible ordeal. Prices are soaring on everyday products and people are being laid off of their jobs. I actually had a talk with my husband about “being prepared” for the worst. Meaning, having a food storage for no less than a year. That means water too, duh.. I also think that we are going to start getting medical supplies (no, I don’t mean raiding the local hospital…) I just mean having extra bandages, tylenol, hot/cold packs, etc.. on hand and put it in an area where you have your other things, food storage, water, etc. Some might think I am “weird” for even considering this, but hey, I woud much rather be a weirdo now, then an unprepared fool, then.
Me and my family are also going to get/ or make, 72 hour kits. I think that every person should have one, even one for your babies! I found this wonderful site, that has TONS of wonderful information on it. It even has a list of what your 72 hour kit should contain and even how to store water so it does not go bad (yes, water does go bad too!) Anyways, I just was thinking about all of this and felt like I should share it with my readers as well. In this day and age, you just never know when you might need the above stuff. Better to be prepared and never use it then the other way around. Here is the link to that great site: (and it is NOT just for tsunamis!!!!)http://www.cityofseaside.us/tsunamiinfo/html/72_hour_kit.html
K, I am done being “MOM”

The BIG news this month is that we are asking you all to participate in our 2009 Reader Survey. And there is a nice reward for completing it. Through the generosity of our publishing colleagues, each of the first 2,500 survey respondents will receive a book. The 28 titles that have been selected each are worthy of a terrific book group discussion, besides providing some wonderful reading enjoyment. Titles will be selected at random. The survey is open until we have awarded all the prizes or April 30th, whichever comes first. It should take you about 12-15 minutes to complete it.

Many men experience bladder weakness, that is often related to prostate issues or other medical conditions. But it is rarely talked about and many men have told TENA that what they want most is information on male bladder weakness and how to deal with it discreetly, so it has a minimum impact on their daily life. TENA does just that.
Visit their website and request a free sample. You can even sample the new men’s TENA underwear that was just launched this month.
