Hot Dog Hamburgers!

Say what?! Hot dog hamburgers? Yep, that is what we had last night for dinner. But it really is not a hot dog AND a hamburger combined, it is simply a hamburger, broken up in a hot dog bun :) Ya, had to get a bit creative as we were low on groceries. No hamburger buns, but we hot dog buns, so there ya have it.

I broke up the cooked hamburger sauteed with onion onto the hot dog buns with mayo, ketchup, shredded cheddar cheese and of course pickles! It was very good too!

The result:

See, very creative, right? What have you had to do before, in order to get by for a meal, before grocery shopping? Care to share? :)

    Interesting! Will have to try that. Also try green bell pepper strips instead of lettuce. Taste great and still has a little crisp!

    This sounds so simple and I always run low on groceries, we will definitely be trying this easy recipe out!
