I really like freshMinerals. I have always been pretty happy with their makeup. With Summer coming, I am now into using SPF in all my foundations and/or makeup. I was happy to see that freshMinerals has a new tinted moisturizer that has a SPF 20! Score, right?!
I received two tubes of the freshMinerals tinted moisturizer to try for this review. I got the sheer ivory and the sand. My favorite was the sand color, only because it adds a bit of sheer color on my skin. The ivory was a bit light so I gave that to my niece and it is perfect for her.
This tinted moisturizer has a brush on the end of it. I don’t like this brush at all. To me it just gets in the way. I use my fingers to blend in my makeup, not a brush, so it was just awkward to me. To to my niece, it was not, she used it and liked it. So, I just squeezed out a little on the brush and then swiped it on my face and blended with my fingers. It is definitely sheer and gives just enough color to my face for a slight glow. If you want more coverage you just use more. I felt good knowing that it has a SPF in it. The makeup is a bit oily on my face, but heck, pretty much all makeup is oily on my face, my face is an oil pit, I swear!
All in all this is a very good product. I do recommend it to you all. Oh, and when you go to put the lid back on the makeup, you can lock the makeup to keep it from coming out. I recommend using that and locking it before you put the lid on. I did not, and when I tried to put the lid on the makeup, I pressed the tube too hard and some makeup came out. So use that “lock”. It is also good to use the lock with little kids in the household! I am sure we all have had the makeup all over the place from our little ones before, sigh! I know I have!
