Hey there! VTech has a new gadget out and it is mighty cool! It is the new MobiGo and my son LOVES it! My son is ALWAYS pretending to “write up reviews”, I even got a picture of it to prove this, and he is always interested in my laptop and my husbands computer and game systems. So, when I introduced him to the MobiGo, he was so excited about it!

MobiGo is a handheld learning device for kids ages 3-8. It has a touch-screen, just like Mom and Dads Droids and kids can apply touch controls that includes tap, flick, pat and drag & drop like our devices we use everyday! MobiGo also has fun, educational games from coloring, drawing and playing instruments, kids discover new ways to express themselves in these engaging and fun filled games! My son was so excited to show me that he could “play” the piano or strum on the guitar strings! The kids can choose whether they want an easy game or a more challenged game. The games on MobiGo has a wide range of categories such as; math, logic, vocabulary and more. The slide open QWERTY keyboard introduces older children (and my son who LOVES this feature) to text typing!

MobiGo is also web-enabled. It has downloadable content such as additional games which will be available for download so your kids can MobiGo! The MobiGo makes learning fun and you tell me what little kids do not like to mimic their parents by trying to use their things (cell phone, computer, you name it!)? My kids are ALWAYS trying to “use” my things! With the MobiGo, my son is content, because he knows that the MobiGo is HIS. He absolutely loves spending a good amount of time turning on the MobiGo and sliding out the keyboard to type in his name. No, he can’t actually “type” it out yet, but he sure as heck tries and he is getting close! So that in itself is a huge learning experience from the beginning of using this device to all the fun and exciting, educational games too.

The MobiGo comes with a game cartridge. It also comes with the computer cable to download games too. It does not come with batteries, it requires 4 AA batteries. I WISH I had known that from the beginning. I had to scramble for the t.v. remotes and swipe their batteries so that my son would not be disappointed! But other than that little thing, this is one great device!

The MobiGo has 11 licensed title game cartridges and more in the works!
