eos Shaving Cream and Lip Balm Review!

Everything about eos from their ingredients to their unique packaging, is so wonderful! I contacted eos in hopes of reviewing for them. They said yes, and so I was very happy! I received the eos Lip Balm and Shave Cream to review.

The packaging is indeed, unique. I love it! Easy to hold and soft and smooth feeling in my hands (the packaging). I received the lip balm in honeysuckle honeydew!! The lip balm is in a round, soft and smooth container. You just unscrew the lid and inside is a round mound of the most deliciously scented and moisturized lip balm ever, just waiting to be put on your lips! This lip balm not only has a unique container it comes in, but it is also just a wonderful lip balm. It keeps my lips very moisturized throughout the day and they taste kind of good too :) TheShave Cream is dreamy. Oh. My. Goodness. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the scent of the shave cream that I received. It is called Lavender Jasmine, and it is just seriously one of the best scents I have ever put onto my skin. The Shave Cream is very creamy, it does not lather or foam up, but goes on like lotion, completely. It provides a very smooth shave and leaves my legs soft, smooth and smelling oh so nice! Think clean laundry scent!

Of course I really like Christopher Drummond Beauty. It is natural makeup and good for my skin. I like how velvety the foundations feel and the colors are so pretty on my skin. I especially like the bronzer. It makes my skin shine with a deep tan. I apply it to my nose, cheeks and forehead. I also apply it to my neck and collar bones if I am wearing a lower cut shirt. It looks real and not orange or fake.

The serum is a MUST with powder foundations and bronzers. This particular serum is great for applying AFTER you already have the foundation on. I use just a tiny amount and blend it into my face to soften up lines that powder usually gives you. It smoothes everything out and leaves my skin soft and line free. Great stuff!

When I rub it between my finger and thumb, it is very moisturizing feeling and absorbs quit quickly, but even though it absorbs quickly, it really does leave a moist feeling behind, which I really like. So, I put it on my forehead, cheeks, around nose and eyes and of course on my neck and chest area. I LOVE the scent of this serum! It is sooo light but the scent is hard to explain, but it is like a clean baby scent if that makes sense to you.

I was contacted by Mad Gab’s Wildly Natural Bodycare, to see if I wanted to review their new Natural Lip Shimmers. Of course I said yes. You know me and my beauty and makeup products! Love them!

I received two lip shimmers. They are skinny and longer then regular lip balms/shimmers. They remind me of softlips style tubes. Perfect size for toting around in your small purse and I love that!

The lip shimmers are great! They are “minty” and feel awesome and cool on my lips. They shimmer just enough to give my lips that sexy look without over doing it. The tint is also wonderful. I love the colors I was sent. They are not an over powering color, or bold. They are more subtle and I like that. I don’t ever like tons of color on my lilps, only because I play up my eyes so much, so these lip tints were perfect for me and my look. Plus it moisturizes my lips so nicely. They are naturally tinted for a touch of color; plus mango butter, olive oil, and shea butter to moisturize lips!

Luminess Air Review & A Giveaway!

I absolutely HATE the feeling of makeup on my face. The less I wear the better. But, I have to wear makeup or I feel naked. I am a total beauty/makeup junkie. Doesn’t make sense, if I am a beauty junkie, that I would hate the feeling of makeup on my face, does it? But it is true. So, I am always on the lookout for foundations and makeup that claim to feel light, feathery, or barely there. I came across Luminess Air, which is an air brushing makeup kit, and was so very intrigued that I had to contact them.

Luminess Air agreed to send me a kit to review. I was so excited to try out this system, as the reviews on the site are wonderful! Nothing but great things about it! It arrived very quickly to my home. And yes, I tried it out that day! I first watched the DVD that came in the kit, just so I knew exactly how to use this neat air brushing machine. It seemed easy enough.

Luminess Air Review

I pulled out the machine, plugged it in, turned it on and grabbed the primer. I put a few drops of it into the machine, while it was on and air brushed the primer on my face. This helps set your makeup and it is oil free!!! Next, I selected the makeup that best matched my skin tone. I then, while the machine was on, put in a few drops of the makeup and then pushed on the button and held it about 6 inches away from my face/neck and started to air brush my makeup on!! Talk about EASY to do! I thought that it would take a bit more effort then it did. But no, it is absolutely SIMPLE to do and does not really take any extra time to put on makeup. The only part that takes maybe a bit longer is cleaning the machine, which is recommended after each use. But other than that, wow, simple! After the makeup was on, I then added a little bit of blush on my cheeks and some bronzer on my neck, nose and forehead. All done!! OMG, it looks flawless!!! I am in LOVE with my Luminess Air, and I am not just saying this, I am truly in love with this product!!!

Everything about the Luminess Air, from the makeup to the air brush machine is just awesome. Luminess Air also does not test on animals, only humans! They believe in making their cosmetics as simple, holistic, organic and natural as possible.

Now, airbrushing your eye makeup is a bit more trickier to do, but I think that the first time I did pretty dang good! You can’t really tell in this picture (which is now also my Facebook profile picture, cause I love my makup so much in it), but it is natural looking and just beautiful!

CLIF Kid Organic ZBaR & Twisted Fruit Review & Giveaway!

If your kids are anything like mine, they are PICKY eaters. I don’t know why either. I mean I try and feed them a variety of things and am constantly trying to introduce new things too. So it is not like they have not had the options there. As for snacks, that is hard too. We received an assortment of the ZBar and the Twisted Fruit for us to sample. My kids favorite, of course, was the Twisted Fruit snacks. They liked the ZBar’s too, but the twisted fruit was their favorite. My son LOVED the strawberry flavored one and my daughter really liked the grape flavor. The Twisted Fruit reminds me of twizzlers, the shape of it ONLY. It is soft and the taste is so flavorful. It is delicious. The ZBar’s are soft too, chewy and very good for being a bar. It is full of taste and is very nutritional!

With many kids going back to school, it is harder then ever for parents to ensure that their children are getting the proper nutrition that they need. So, you can see why I wanted to review for them! Great company that gives back!

We received a great package from Beck Bones. It included a pair of the KIDS SERVE Black/Lucy Lies/Scatter shoes, Becky Bones zip down hoody, shirt, tons of cute stickers, a reusable tote and a little tablet to plant our own tree, so neat!

I sent these products to my niece, who absolutely LOVED everything. I will save the shoes for one of my kids when they get a bit bigger. The hoody is comfortable and says: “Save the Earth, Save Yourself” on it with the adorable girly skull on it! The shirt is cute too and has the Becky Bones little characters all over on it. I like what this company stands for and that it can also teach kids to be nice to the Earth and recycle and plant trees too. The website is adorable, and very informative. From stories of teens helping the environment to applying for your own grant and more! This is a great site and it also has a forum on it where you can ask questions and get answers. My favorite page on this site is the “Save the Earth” page, where it lists 10 things you can do right now, to help save our Earth! Those things are not enough for you? Well, then visit Becky Bones “Play” page where you will find art to download, design your own t-shirt, print out fun things and more!!

SodaStream Review and Giveaway!

Well, yes, we like our soda around here, I will not lie. I always like to have a cold soda in the fridge for myself. Heck, my whole family while growing up, always got to have a soda if we were good, so I tried to be good as much as possible :) Though I don’t give the same kind of treat for being good, to my children, I do allow them some pop sometimes.

I contacted SodaStream to see about doing a review for them. I thought, heck I drink the stuff anyways, why not save money and make my own at home?! I was excited when they agreed on letting me review for them! Yeah!

SodaStream Review

I received a SodaStream machine, the CO2 Carbonator, two reusable bottles, and a whole bunch of the soda flavors!! Oh what a neat package this was!!! I was gone all day, so I did not get this until nighttime, but I still had to open it and put it together! The first soda we made was the cola. Since I love Coke, this would be great! I made it, which is soooooo easy to do! All you do is open the back part of the SodaStream machine, screw in the CO2 Carbonator, then close back up the back. Then rinse your soda bottle, fill it with cold tap water and screw it onto the machine. Next, you just simply press the button on the top of the machine (about 3 or 4 times) until you hear it make a funny noise. Then you push up on the hood of the machine (it makes a really cool futuristic sound :) ) and unscrew the bottle from the machine. Then you select which mix you want and use the cap to measure correctly. Tilt the bottle with water in it, and slowly pour in the soda mixer. Put lid back onto the bottle, shake ever so lightly, open and enjoy! Tap water is instantly turned into sparkling water and you just have to add the mixture!! Genius! The cola was very good, and tasted almost as good as my Cokes do.

Since the first initial use, I have used the lemonade (which is so far everyones favorite!), diet cream soda and my favorite, the energy drink!!! Yep, I was stoked to see that they made an energy drink! I use to be an avid Rockstar drinker, so this was a sweet surprise for me and hubby! The energy drink tastes EXACTLY like Red Bull, in my opinion! Love it! It truly is the smarter way to enjoy soda!!

Moon Dough Magic Barnyard Playset Review

I am not one for play dough type toys for my children, simply because of their age (2 and 4) and how dang MESSY play dough can be. But, when I was introduced to Moon Dough, I thought, “this sounds kind of neat” and wanted to go ahead and review it.

My kids received the Moon Dough Barn Playset. It arrived and I actually put it up in the closet. I wanted to find the PERFECT time to give this to my children, because I knew that there was a chance it would be messy. So, the perfect day came, it was beautiful outside and I set the kids up on our deck with their little table and chairs. I opened up the box and started getting everything out. Now, I have never seen moon dough so when I saw the packages it came in (there are three in this particular playset), it was weird! It looked quite crumbly to me, so I was pleased with myself at having the children outside as opposed to inside! I put the Barn playset together, super easy and only took me 2 minutes, and then opened up the moon dough. It is certainly a very unique play dough! Fun to touch and squeeze and mold! But, even with lots of kneading, it was still extremely messy and crumbly! My kids, however, had the best two days of playing with this, ever!!! I say two days because since the moon dough was so crumbly, it ended up falling on our deck and going between the planks on our deck, so I could not grab it all. By day two, the moon dough was nearly gone, because of that. Then, finally it was all gone. Buying more moon dough is easy though, you can purchase it Target, Walmart, Kmart, Toys r Us and more places. So, even though it is extremely messy and it goes quickly it is fun for the kids. I *think* we may get more moon dough before the nice weather leaves for good, and let my kids play one last time with the moon dough. But after that, it will be a Spring/Summer thing for my kids to do outside!
