Well, yes, we like our soda around here, I will not lie. I always like to have a cold soda in the fridge for myself. Heck, my whole family while growing up, always got to have a soda if we were good, so I tried to be good as much as possible Though I don’t give the same kind of treat for being good, to my children, I do allow them some pop sometimes.

I contacted SodaStream to see about doing a review for them. I thought, heck I drink the stuff anyways, why not save money and make my own at home?! I was excited when they agreed on letting me review for them! Yeah!

I received a SodaStream machine, the CO2 Carbonator, two reusable bottles, and a whole bunch of the soda flavors!! Oh what a neat package this was!!! I was gone all day, so I did not get this until nighttime, but I still had to open it and put it together! The first soda we made was the cola. Since I love Coke, this would be great! I made it, which is soooooo easy to do! All you do is open the back part of the SodaStream machine, screw in the CO2 Carbonator, then close back up the back. Then rinse your soda bottle, fill it with cold tap water and screw it onto the machine. Next, you just simply press the button on the top of the machine (about 3 or 4 times) until you hear it make a funny noise. Then you push up on the hood of the machine (it makes a really cool futuristic sound ) and unscrew the bottle from the machine. Then you select which mix you want and use the cap to measure correctly. Tilt the bottle with water in it, and slowly pour in the soda mixer. Put lid back onto the bottle, shake ever so lightly, open and enjoy! Tap water is instantly turned into sparkling water and you just have to add the mixture!! Genius! The cola was very good, and tasted almost as good as my Cokes do.

Since the first initial use, I have used the lemonade (which is so far everyones favorite!), diet cream soda and my favorite, the energy drink!!! Yep, I was stoked to see that they made an energy drink! I use to be an avid Rockstar drinker, so this was a sweet surprise for me and hubby! The energy drink tastes EXACTLY like Red Bull, in my opinion! Love it! It truly is the smarter way to enjoy soda!!
