Sebastian Professional Color Ignite Hair Care Collection Review

My hair is thick and can get so dry, especially after I highlight it! Ugh. I have used many, many hair care products and some work really well and others not so much.

I recently got to try out Sebastian Professional Color Ignite Shampoo and conditioner. I received the Color Protection Shampoo for Multi-Tonal and Lightened Hair and the Color Ignite Multi-Tonal Conditioner. I have always thought highly of the Sebastian hair care products so trying it out was exciting to me! The shampoo is made for my highlighted and stressed out hair. It is very creamy and foams up very well. It rinses well and leaves my hair smelling really good! The conditioner is very different from what I have ever used before, because it is a mousse conditioner! I did not think that it would condition as deeply as I needed it to (with my hair being sooooo thick), but it did a fairly good job. I did have to use a lot more of it then other people, because my hair is so thick and long! I actually put it on my hair in the shower and then rinsed, then when I got out, I put another palm full of it on my hair and blended it in and just left it. My hair gets really tangled, so this really helped me brush through it easier. Oh and the conditioner smells wonderful too!

The smart color protection shampoo is supposed to target your color treated strands to deeply moisturize them and restructure the fibers, wherever it is most needed. The conditioner is a micro-bubble conditioner that will make your hair healthy and shine! The result is long-lasting color and vibrancy!

What kind of shampoo and conditioner do you use on your hair?

Comments

  1. Thanks for the info…I just colored my hair last night!

  2. Lately I’ve been using Dove products which I’ve found to be pretty good for the price.

  3. I tried out the Sebastian too and really didn’t like the conditioner. I don’t know if it’s because the conditioner was a foam or what, but my hair just didn’t feel very moisturized after wards. But most of the time, I use Redken All Soft and that’s worked pretty well for me.

  4. It honestly changes all the time. I like to try different products.

  5. I mostly use organic hair prducts since my hair has a tendency to be dry. I find that most shampoos makes this issue worse.

  6. I use super cheap shampoo but my color pays the price!! luckily i don’t spend much on my color either 🙂

  7. I usually use baking soda and water for shampoo, rinse a bit of oil into my hair, and then rinse it out. I’m plain!
