I always try to do learning things with my kids each and every day. I try to take every situation, where I have their attention, and teach them something fun!

Using flash cards is just one other way I love to help my kids learn things. I have site words flash cards, A B C, Numbers and more! My kids love flash cards and they love to have a game where which one (sissy or brother) will say what is on the flash cards first! Sometimes they both get it, sometimes just one gets it and then a fight breaks loose, but hey, it is fun anyways!

I was introduced to the Goosie Personalized Flash Cards and was happy when I was able to review them! Since we already use flash cards in our home, this would be lots of fun!

I got onto their site and had my kids sitting next to me. We made an account with Walgreens Photo Gifts (you have to make an account there, it is free!!) and then I could download any pictures that I wanted to use on our flash cards! Super fun to do. My kids each got to pick out 5 pictures each (I am getting 10), and then I added my touches to them.

For instance, my son picked out his Dad’s picture. So, at the top of the picture I wrote “Is this Dad or Mom?” and below the picture I wrote “Dad”. Yes, my kids already know the difference of mom and dad, but seeing it on a flash card and seeing what the word “Dad” looks like, will help them recognize the word in other places like books or t.v or whatever.

I did this to 9 other cards and wrote different things on each card and then at the bottom I put the answers. I cannot wait to see them as I have not received them yet, but got a confirmation they are on their way! Yay!

I loved being able to create these with my kids. Now when they do come in the mail, my kids will be even more excited to look at them and learn, because they helped with making them
