My Review
I received some great pieces from Stella & Dot and have to say there are really pretty, elegant and nice pieces! I love them all and want to keep them all, but I won’t, I will be giving away two pieces to TWO of you! But first, listen up!
I received the gorgeous Rachel necklace that I am in love with. I can dress it up or down, which I love. It has beautiful fresh water pearls, crystal quartz, glass beads and silver plated rings. It is longer, about 31″ in length, or I can use the cute ribbon it came with and double it up and make it shorter! Love that option!!! I feel really pretty wearing this necklace. It is super cute with a tight, fitted t-shirt and some tight jeans ;) and boots! Talk about HOT!
Next up are the Deco Drop Earrings. Sooo pretty and elegant looking. These look best with a nice shirt and skirt or nice pants. Maybe put your hair up in a messy, sexy bun? ya, that would be soo pretty. They are Deco faceted CZ and Czech crystals that adorn a delicate vintage inspired drop.
The Toujours Earrings are a favorite of mine! They hang and are dangly, love it! They are a cascading, mother of pearl disc earrings with a aceted metallic beads shimmer. Just beautiful!
Want something simple, yet totally elegant? The Cubic Zirconia & Black Plated Stud Earrings (Hermatite Studs), are just that, soo pretty and sparkly and just gorgeous! They are a shimmering CZ stone that is nestled inside a hand hammered black ruthenium plated brass bezel!
Last, but not least is the pretty Signature Scallop & Leather Bracelet. It has Silver plated signature scalloped discs that are hand wrapped onto a leather cord. Simply adorable! It is simple and sweet!

If you all follow my blog you know I have been trying to conceive our 3rd child now for almost 3 years now :( I have been taking fertility drugs, getting tests done and I have had 4 IUI‘s with nada. General Mills Whole Grain Cereals Review & Giveaway

Are you getting enough whole grain in your diet? Chances are you are not. And, identifying whole grain products can certainly prove to be challenging, while out shopping. Sure you can look for nutritional cues on the front of the products, but you really need to read the back labels to see what is really in these products.

Below are some recommendations from Dr. Travis Stork, (emergency room physician and host of “The Doctors), to help you include whole grain easily into your diet:

  • Start Early! The Dietary Guidelines recommend people get at least 48 grams of whole grain in their daily diets. Get a jump-start on the day’s nutrition by incorporating whole grain into your morning routine. For instance, when choosing cereal make sure whole grain is listed as the first ingredient. One easy choice is cereal with the white check, which have more whole grain than any other single ingredient.
  • Make Simple Swaps. Choose whole grain versions of the foods you love. Great options include whole wheat pasta and whole wheat bread or even whole grain crackers. Also, try different types of whole grain. Use brown rice instead of white rice as a side dish at dinner or popcorn, which is a whole grain, for a snack.
  • Don’t Judge a Food by Its Cover. The front of food packages provide good nutritional cues, but don’t forget to read the ingredients and check the nutrition label and side labels for additional health information. Cereals with the white check even include the amount of whole grain per serving on packaging.

The decorating chalks are super fun and I love that they come with two little applicators to use and that the chalk comes in a plastic case. So, when you are all done, simply snap the plastic case shut, and store it! Anything easier for me is good!! The only “messy” part of this kit was of course that glitter. So, I was in charge of the glitter :) But, I had so much fun with the glitter I ended up getting it on my floor anyways, LOL! So worth the fun though!!

This kit also comes with a how-to-make Valentines Book that shows you how to make Valentines and the envelopes, we did not use that book as you can see. The kids just used their imaginations!

Lugz Mens Brigade Fold Boots Review

My hubby is a big fan of Lugz Boots. He has several pairs already and recently was able to review and try out the Lugz Mens Brigade Fold Boots in black. He is super picky with his shoes/boots and they have to be a certain look or style in order for him to actually wear them in public. He is just picky!

When the boots arrived my hubby was happy with them. He has wide feet and these came in the wide width and he likes how they feel, so that is a good thing :) These boots are heavier boots and they have fleece lining down to your feet, it is really warm and cozy feeling. They also have a Full Grain Nubuck Leather/Suede upper for extra comfort. The cushioned insole and padded tongue help comfort your tired aching feet, when you are on them all day long. One of the best feature on this boot is the adjustable fold down collar on them. You can have the “collar” on the boots up or down, for different looks. The durable rubber outsole allows for working outdoors easily and not slipping around. Great traction!

 The Mens Brigade Fold Boots come in three different colors: Black, Charcoal/Grey and Wheat/Cream. I really think all the colors look very nice. Delicious and Easy Balmi Recipe

One of my all time favorite food is Balmi. Never heard of it? Either had I until I met my hubby! His grandmother was Indonesian and man could she cook! She cooked the most yummiest meals EVER. But one that I really really enjoyed, was her Balmi. Oh man she knew how to make that!

After she passed, my MIL would make the Balmi and now, she taught me :) And goodness, I have to admit I rock at the Balmi makin!!!! It is so easy to make, takes no time at all and is pretty much a healthy meal that everyone in your family will enjoy.

Delicious and Easy Balmi Recipe

A delicious and easy Balmi Recipe that your whole family will be sure to love and enjoy!
Ingredients
  • 1 Box of Spaghetti Noodles
  • Pork (1 lb)
  • Hot Chili Garlic Sauce (optional)
  • Soy Sauce
  • Onions-1/2 chopped
  • Celery-3 stalks chopped
  • Snow Peas- a hand full, cut off ends
  • Accent Salt (to taste)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Garlic powder (or fresh garlic) I use the fresh in a jar and use a spoonful of it
  • Bean Sprouts (handful)
Instructions
  1. Boil noodles and then drain, set aside
  2. cut up into little bit size pieces and put pork into frying pan
  3. Add chopped onions, some Accent Salt, Salt and garlic into frying pan with pork and fry pork until nice and browned
  4. Add chopped celery, snow peas and bean sprouts and cook with pork for about 5 minutes on medium heat
  5. Add cooked noodles and mix
  6. Add Soy Sauce To taste (maybe 6 tbsp??) and mix really well
  7. Put on your plate, add a little dolop of the Hot Chili Sauce (optional but makes it SO much more delicious!) and enjoy!!
