With Fall QUICKLY approaching us (yay! I love Fall time :) ), our fragrances kind of change-up a bit too! Tru Fragrance has announced the sensual scent of Sandalwood as the fragrance “HipNote” for fall 2012! It is definitely a scent to check out!

I was sent two of these limited edition HipNote Sandalwood fragrances to check out. One for me and one for my readers to win!! Woot! These are so limited edition that you can only request the HipNote Sandalwood, (they have very  limited quantities), via “Hipnozes by Tru Fragrance” on Facebook! Can you believe that?! But, it is true!

Sandalwood’s sexy scent has been known to evoke a calming effect and awaken sensuality and that is why it is so popular (that and it smells nice). This season’s HipNote is presented as a special edition fragrance crafted to commemorate fall’s hottest scents. Sandalwood will make an appearance in some of the most highly anticipated fragrance launches for men and women this fall.

This fragrance has a lingering scent that will help compliment the cooler days and nights headed our way. This season’s HipNote was selected by Harry Fremont, master perfumer from world-leading fragrance and flavor company Firmenich, and creator of fine fragrances including CK One, Eternity Moment and DKNY Men. The special edition HipNote Sandalwood was selected to celebrate fall’s trendiest note, while simultaneously educating fragrance enthusiasts on the importance of sustainability within the world of perfume.

I personally really like the scent. I don’t wear a lot of perfumes, but when I do decide to wear a perfume it has to  not be strong or overbearing.  I cannot stand those that smell soo strongly. So, I simply spray in the air and walk through the mist. I have done this for as long as I can remember and I swear by doing that. I have never had anyone tell me my perfume is too strong. The scent lingers on my skin and is just pretty smelling on me. My hubby likes it and so do my kids. My daughter has even worn this on occasion. It is definitely a more fall-ish scent, meaning, to me, it is more of  a wood-sy scent. Just very pretty!
