Back-to-school, oh those dreaded words, LOL. I hated to hear them when I was a school aged child. I am sure there are many just like me…But if you do have to go back-to-school, might as well be prepared, I always say.

Rubbermaid came out with a new product called Rubbermaid LunchBlox Sandwich Kit! I actually received this a few weeks ago so I have had time to check it out real well.

This kit certainly saves your child’s lunchbox’s space and helps it stay organized. These modular containers snap together, allowing space to be saved. I did notice that they do snap together, but they don’t stay together. They easily come apart from one another. Which is no biggie for me, I just use them all as separate containers anyways and my son does not care in the least if they stay together or not. He is there to eat, not make sure things stay in place.

This Kit includes a specially designed Blue Ice™ pack that works with LunchBlox containers to keep lunches chilled on the go, which is really nice if you have things that need to be kept cool in your child’s lunch like, milk, yogurt, cheese, etc. My son has a very hard time eating sandwiches I make for him in the morning, at lunch time, because the sandwiches don’t taste as good, he says. I am hoping this will help with that.

A sandwich fits well in the sandwich container and then you have two little snack containers and a regular sized snack container, that are proportioned perfectly for fruits, cheeses or whatever it is your child enjoys nibbling on. I also like that these are microwave-, dishwasher- and freezer-safe and BPA-free!

You can easily check out Rubbermaids complete line of LunchBlox products by visiting them here. The LunchBlox Sandwich Kit is currently available for purchase at Rubbermaid.com, Target, Kmart, Kroger, Safeway, Bi-Lo, Winn-Dixie, HEB, other grocery stores and select Wal-Mart stores. They retail for $12.99 each.
