We all know summer weather can wreak havoc on your locks. My hair tends to get super dry on the ends but oily on the top, go figure. What am I suppose to do with THAT? Ugh.
Anyways, TRESemme has created a straight from the beach look that I know you all will love (I do!). It was actually created for Agua Bendita’s Show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim 2013! TRESemmé Stylists Elsa Canedo and Marco Pena were inspired by the “Lovely Heroes” collection to create this glamorous “straight from the beach” look that’s on-trend for summer.
Here is how to recreate this look:
- 1. On slightly damp hair, part the hair from ear to ear and apply TRESemmé Ultra Firm Control Gel from the part to the crown. Comb through with fingers.
- 2. Blow dry sides and front of hair straight back for a sleek wet look.
- 3. Apply TRESemmé Split Remedy Sealing Serum to the ends working through the lengths of hair, but avoiding the roots.
- 4. Spray the gelled section at the top and sides of hair with TRESemmé TRES Two Ultra Fine Mist Hairspray, then set the style with a hit of hot air from the blow dryer.

I like to let it air dry because it does have curl to it, but it gets so frizzy in the summer because of the stupid midwest humidity!
I don’t do much. I usually wash and air dry (I use a blow dryer only sometimes). I have naturally wavy hair. Sometimes I put it in a low, relaxed bun. I’m pretty low-maintenance so I’m glad I don’t really have to do much to my hair.
I do mine the same year round – wash, condition, and dry.
I usually wear a headband in my hair during the summer to keep the hair off my face.
Very little is done to my hair – kept short and easy to do.

Ugh.. my hair is like yours, tends to get dry on the ends and oily on top, add in a bit of frizz from the humidity and my hair spends the summer pulled up/back.
My hair is in an updo most of the time in summer.
I do a ponytail and always have to use spray conditioner or I get frizz head.

I always dry with a hair dryer or it’ll look like I was shocked, and I have it in a ponytail because it’s so hot and sticky.
My hair is short so it’s always the same.
I usually put it up in a ponytail on hot days.
It depends on what I am doing that day, if I am at home I usually wash, scrunch and air dry.

I use a conditioning treatment once a week and I keep my hair bleached blonde and wear it straight.
