I really love Infographics ~ they are fascinating! While contraceptives are available, too many parents don’t educate thier children (boys & girls) about sex … and pregnancy (or STD’s … or both) result.
Joanne Gregory says
Teen pregnancy continues in spite of the availability of contraceptives and all the information available. So sad. It is a life changing event.

I have two daughters and am terrified after reading the statistics. All the more reason to educate early!!

I like info-graphics its great. More and more teen pregnancies are going down which is great news. very informative.

I like the trend that its going down but the fact that its so high in the firstplace isng good! This isnt the 1900’s. Teen pregnancy is no longer a good option and we should do everything in our power to protect the children and prepare them for the decisions they make when “in the moment” one act or decision or lack of it could change their lives forever.

Love these charts! My Dad is in marketing/advertising so I’ve got a keen eye to great advertising! Plus I have the Breastfeeding one up next to my desk at the Health Dept I work at!

The south has a ways to go to reduce its teen pregnancy numbers. It is interesting to correlate these figures with overall levels of education and access to birth control.
