Since having a baby in December, I have made a lot of New Years Resolutions. I had to! I don’t normally make them, in fear of just not following through with them, but this year was different. I have weight to lose and some goals to follow through with.
So, how am I doing on my resolutions? Well, so far so good. But then again it is only February! But, I am going strong and that is a great sign of success in the near future for me!
I am down to my pre-pregnancy weight. I was able to get back down to this weight about 2 weeks after giving birth. Did not really have to do anything but nurse, nurse, nurse! This baby is hungry ALL the time, so that has certainly helped with me losing some baby weight! Yay!!
Now my next goal is to just keep this weight, or lose a bit more, and eat healthy! I will add exercise next week, as that will be my 6 week postpartum date and I have the go-ahead from my doctor. So, next week will be the start of working out gradually. I can’t wait to get toned again! So, that goal is still on track too.
Another resolution I made with my hubby is getting all of our bills paid off. No more bills! I hate them and they hate me . We really do not have a lot of debt, really we don’t. Our main bills are our mortgage, electricity and such, but we do have some medical bills (who doesn’t? UGH) that we need to get paid off. So, this is a HUGE goal of ours this year,.
I know that if I keep my head on straight and stay focused, I can do this, I CAN. I am still on track and it looks good right now, so I have hope!!

That’s awesome that you have been able to take off the baby weight already! And eating healthier seems to be something we all want to do! My New Year’s Resolution was that as well (eating healthier), I also wanted to branch out in my cooking/baking more and try new things, so far I’ve done pretty good on that!

Way to go Kim! You amaze me with your energy and resolve! Paying down debt is the smartest thing you’ll ever do! It will be so much easier to save once you are done with debt! Keep up the inspiring work!
Wow, I never did lose my pregnancy weight! My resolution is to eat healthier, drink more water and do a little more exercise!
I love the instant game. Thanks.
I also want to pay down my debt this year and, with God’s help, I hope to. And continuing to eat healthy and working out regularly is also part of my resolution.
Paying down my debt is also one of my resoltions. I think it’s very important to live or try to live close to debt-free.

That is Terrific that you were able to get back to your normal weight so quickly! There are many of us who want to pay down our debt this year and my goal is also to save some money. There are usually so many bills though!
Great work on the baby weight! The Visa prepaid IWG is a good one – I won $15 the first time I played!
Congrats on the progress you have made. Hope it continues!
Yay! Good for you! You have to feel so good about getting back to your weight you were at. I know that one is difficult, especially after first child. The medical bills…yeah, you will feel better after they are paid off. If only we could not have any of those.
That’s awesome that you made it back to your pre-pregnancy weight so quickly. Congrats and keep up the god work!!

Awesome job on the weight loss! I find the weight loss resolutions toughest to stick to and can only hope I can get back to my pre PRE pregnancy (never lost all the weight from the first pregnancy) weight loss after I have my baby lol

Paying off debt is right at the top of my resolution list next to getting healthier.
My resolution is to try to have a more positive attitude. I’ve had some bad days, but being conscious of my negativity is helping me “catch it.”
