Kimberly Schotz #1440!
Nothing says Spring better than open windows and fresh air!! This last weekend was super rainy, but there was about a two-hour time period where it was nice outside. I took advantage of that and opened up the windows in my home and did some spring cleaning! Felt SO good to do!
Our home has A LOT of dust in it. I dust my furniture and in about 3 days, my stuff is getting dusty again. I am sure it has to do with our vents needing to be cleaned out, but still it drives me nuts! That is what we are breathing in! Yuck..
Adding an air purifier to your home can help clear the air by capturing microscopic airborne allergens and I knew that the Honeywell True HEPA Allergen Remover Compact Tower would help clean up my air around my home.
The Honeywell True HEPA Allergen Remover Compact Tower is great for small rooms (75 sq. ft). It features a True HEPA filter that effectively captures up to 99.97% of microscopic allergens from the air that passes through its filters. Air first enters the pre-filter where odors and larger particles are trapped, then the HEPA filter captures dust, pollen, pet dander, smoke and other particles 0.3 microns and larger. Its stylish compact design looks great in every room and the HPA060 is ENERGY STAR® qualified.
I actually move this from room to room as the day goes by. First I have it in my room for a bit, then move it to the next room. I like how this has 3 air cleaning levels that include Germ and Allergen options. And if something goes wrong, it has a 5 year limited warranty.
When the machine is on, it is not loud. It just sounds like a fan. As you turn the knob, the sound gets a bit louder with each cleaning cycle, but again, not loud at all. Just a nice fan sound.
This is not only great for cleaning that air from all those germs but like I mentioned above, all the allergens too! If you have animals in your home, it can be an allergen nightmare for some families! According to the Asthma & Allergy Foundation of America, 15 to 30 percent of the U.S. population is allergic to cats or dogs. Exposure to pet allergens typically occurs in the home when fur, dander or dried saliva become airborne and are inhaled. Activities like jumping on a couch or running around a room can stir up these allergens and exacerbate the issue for families.
Honeywell Air Purifier’s has put together a new Allergen Friendly Pet list! Though no breed of dogs or cats has been proven to be truly hypoallergenic, but studies suggest that some may be more allergen-friendly than others. Take a peek at that list below! I thought it was interesting to read!
