Mid-Thigh Bodysuit by Amia

*Product Received. Opinions Are Mine.

Bumps and bulges are just not pretty. After having little ones, my body has changed big time. I am not stick thin anymore and I have cellulite when I used to not have any. Was it worth having kids for a body like the one I have now? You BET! But, if I can hide those bulges, I will!

Mid-Thigh Bodysuit by Amia

The Mid-Thigh Bodysuit by Amia helps hide unsightly bulges. It helps smooth out your problem areas from the torso to the mid-thigh. This stops right under the breasts, so that you can still wear your favorite bra with it. It also has detachable straps, so you can wear it with or without the straps. At the bottom of the shorts part there is pretty, feminine lace that lays flat and looks pretty.

One thing with shapewear is having to pull it down, each time you go to the bathroom. That can be a HUGE pain, especially if you have worn shape wear before, you know how hard it is to pull those puppies up! With the Mid-Thigh Bodysuit, there is a convenient ‘opening’ at the crotch area, so that you don’t have to pull these down to go ‘number one’. Number two? Not so much..

Mid-Thigh Bodysuit by Amia

This bodysuit is made from 74% Nylon and  28% Elastane. It is smooth and comfy on. I definitely suggest ordering a size up, when ordering as these (to me), tend to run a bit smaller.

You can purchase the Mid-Thigh Bodysuit by Amia online at http://www.hourglassangel.com/. It retails for $54.00.

Do you wear shapewear?

I try to resist shapeware, but this seems like a great product!

  2. Has anyone ever successfully not peed on one of these? I am just not that coordinated! I love the lace edges- very classy!

  3. This body suit looks really comfy. I love the color and the lace trim.

  4. Ann Bacciaglia says:

I have not tried a body suit like this before. I like the lace trim on the edges. Thanks for sharing.

  5. Mid-thigh bodysuits do not work for me, but I do agree that bumps and bulges aren’t flattering. I think shaping garments are magical little things.

  6. I could really use one of those! I’ve tried some like it but was not comfortable! Would love to try these!

  7. Interesting and seems effective. Honestly I cannot stand extra clothes on and anything confining. I hardly want to wear a bra and underwear (but I do. Lol). I think the little opening for bathroom breaks is genius

  8. I definitely think I need to wear shapewear! I like the lace accents

  9. I am going to have to check this out! I love shape wear and have all kinds of different pieces.

  10. Catherine S says:

That looks really great I like the opening to go to the bathroom. The lace looks really pretty.

  11. That is a super cute bodysuit! Way better than what I have right now!

  12. I have one similar that I swear to smooth myself out if I have to wear a clingy dress. It’s a lifesaver!

  13. I really need one of these. Never saw a reason to need one until the other night when I wanted to wear a form fitting dress and you could see under lines, so I had to forgo the dress for the evening and wear something else.

  14. Interesting! This one looks cozy. It’s nice to wear under a dress to smooth you out.

  15. i’m giggling at the bathroom opening. and so so grateful. it’s always a challenge trying to tinkle with those shapers on!

  16. I do wear shapewear. Even when I was thinner. I love the mid thigh bottoms because I can’t stand for my legs to touch each other.

  17. I have never worn shape wear — but I like this one. Especially since you don’t have to peel the entire thing off when you need to go to the bathroom!

  18. I have never worn shapewear, but I’m thinking I may have to try! This looks great!

  19. I love shape wear its great. I like having it as I have a tummy

  20. I think that it having a potty hole makes is awesome! My luck I would still manage to soil myself. I don’t really like body suits.. but maybe it’s worth a try!

  21. Oh great idea. Nice that it’s comfortable too!

  22. What a great idea. It looks like it is pretty comfy too.

  23. I know this bodysuit doesn’t have a number two opening, but I am still loving the number one help they’ve provided. Bodysuits are darn near impossible to deal with once you have them on, so the less you have to maneuver them the better.

  24. I don’t think I’ll ever need to wear a bodysuit, but my girlfriend might be interested in this. I think I’ll forward this link to her.

  25. Well, at least they helped us out with number one. That’s better than nothing!

  26. The pull apart bathroom opening is mandatory. Trying to wiggle in and out is horrible. I like the detachable straps too!

  27. This is something i need. Too many bulges on this aging body. lol

  28. This is such a great idea. I have a few more pounds to lose – but this will make it look like I already lost the weight!

  29. I love how it has the crotch area. I usually don’t wear shapewear because of how inconvenient going to the bathroom usually is.

  30. Those leg gussets always look scary, but the work fit. I was nervous the first time but I’ve never once had a “problem”.

  31. I don’t usually wear something like this but it looks like a good product.

  32. The pull apart bathroom opening is a great idea!

  33. Looks like a great bodysuit. I love the cute lace trim.

  34. Yeah, most shapewear doesn’t work with a large opening for the rear “hatch”. That’s another reason I wear it sparingly!

  35. I have one almost just like that! It’s usually too hot to wear in the summer but it really comes in handy!

  36. Robin (Masshole Mommy) says:

I need a few of those. Kids definitley change us. I wouldn’t change it, either, but sometimes I don’t want all my flab flapping around.
