What a neat idea, I thought, when I came across the Scandle Candle Website. I mean, who would think to have a wonderful smelling candle turn into an oil massage lotion when lit and melted down? Genius! So, I contacted Scandle Candle and they agreed to send me a sample for review.

I received the candle in a manila envelope. It was not packaged very well, no bubble wrap or anything, and the candle appeared to have melted en route to me. I took it out of the envelope, and had a very hard time opening it, because it had "leaked" and it seemed like it was rusted pretty good. I was fortunate to get it opened up, and when I did, the scent of this delicious Scandle hit me! I LOVED the smell and had to light it right away. Despite the first initial experience I had with Scandle Candle, I really liked this candle. It smelled very good (I received the brown sugar and vanilla one YUM). I was a bit hesitant to try out the melted down oil part of it, but forced myself too, hey, I am reviewing it! At first I thought, "hot wax!" Nope, not at all! Think "warm oil". It was absolutely wonderful on my skin and the scent was so delicious smelling on my skin as it was in the room where I stood putting this on!

I just wish that the packaging would have been done better, so that the experience when I opened it, was not a negative one, but a positive one. Because, my experience with the Scandle Candle after this episode, was wonderful!
