Stove Top Everyday Stuffing Mix & Easy Chicken Bake Recipe

I know you have tried the Stove Top stuffing, right?  It is really easy to make and really delicious. Growing up my mom always made Stove Top Stuffing with all of our Thanksgiving and  Christmas meals. It was a tradition, in a way.

I now feed Stove Top to my family too. I love how easy it is to mix up and in a few minutes, you have delicious stuffing. You can make it their way or you can step it up a bit and add your own ingredients to make it YOURS.

In the past two weeks, since receiving my samples of Stove Top, I have gone through 1 1/2 of the containers I received! I received 3, just so you all know :) I have made delicious whole chickens with the Stove Top and steamed veggies and rice. My family loves homemade meals and adding the Stove Top really fits into the homemade meal theme.

Stove Top everyday stuffing mix is available in a convenient resealable canister, which is so nice! Are you tired of the same old potatoes as the side dish for your meals? Ya, me too! The  Stove Top is easier to prepare and packed with really flavorful herbs and spices, making your side dish suddenly not so boring, but totally yummy! It is available in Chicken and Homestyle Herb, and  one serving of Stove Top Everyday Stuffing Mix takes only two minutes to prepare in your microwave! It will make every dinner more exciting and tastier.

How to Thaw Chicken Safely and Quickly

When thawing chicken under running water, be sure to use cold water. Keep the chicken in its original wrap or place in a water-tight resealable plastic bag. Be careful not to cross-contaminate other food products, work surfaces or utensils with the dripping water.

Storage Know-How

Package boneless skinless chicken breasts in recipe-size portions in the freezer. Thaw only the amount needed for a recipe.

Blueberry Biscuits

Me and my family LOVE blueberries so I had to make this when I saw it in our little cookbook…

The ingredients are simple… Preheat your oven to 375

*1 can of large-size refrigerator biscuits

*1 cup of canned blueberry pie filling

*1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

*1/4 teaspoon almond extract

*1 teaspoon ground cinnamon mixed with 1/4 cup of  sugar

*1 cup of brown sugar pecans (I added this it was not called for…)

Spray a 12-cup muffin pan with nonstick cooking spray. Divide each biscuit in half. Press half biscuit in bottom of 8 of the muffin cups, covering the bottom completely. Leave 4 of the cups empty.

In a small bowl, combine blueberry pie filling, nutmeg and almond extract.

Spoon 1 tablespoon of the blueberry pie filling into your mouth (just kidding..) on the top of each biscuit half.

Cover the top of the blueberry filling with the other half of the biscuit.

Sprinkle each one with a little (or a lot!) of the cinnamon and sugar mixture and add the brown sugar coated pecans!

Bake for 15 minutes. Enjoy!

These were a HUGE hit and did not last more then 6 hours at my home! :)

What are your favorite treats to make at home with the kids???

Poverty, But Easy and Delicious Brownie Heart Cakes

So, we all know that today was Valentines Day. I am a bit late, but I hope you all had a fabulous day with your loved ones. Me, I spent it with my two beautiful babies, my hubby had to work :(

I decided to make some special treats for my kids and hubs, and so I went to work in that kitchen of mine. Actually I am pretty happy with myself, because I did not have little heart cake pans, so I improvised. I molded some silver foil around my heart shaped cookie cutter and made the little cake holders that way! Not too shabby, huh?

My Silver foil heart shaped (maybe a bit poverty??) cake pans…

How To Make:

You will need a box of brownie mix and the ingredients on that box. A can of chocolate frosting, red hot candies, sugared nuts (that sounds bad…), and heath bits (or whatever topping you so desire…).

Make brownie mix

Pour into already made little silver foil heart tins

put into over at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes

Let cool

pop them out of the little heart tins

and decorate!

Easy, delicious and EVERYONE will love them!!

Before the oven….

After the oven (and out of their silver foil shell)…

Decorating and Enjoying!

And, one ESPECIALLY for hubby..

What did you do for Valentines Day? :)

Kim
