Back-To-School With Zebra Pens (Review) #shopletreviews

Do you like pens? I can’t say I am in love with them, but I certainly like to have a few lying around and easy to grab when I need one! I HATE not having a pen around when I need one, OMG it irritates me!

I was sent some fabulous Z-Mulsion pens from Shoplet.com, as well as a variety of pens from Zebra’s different lines to check out and share my experiences with you all. Sure, they are pens, but not just any old pens. I received a great assortment of them in a very nice pen holder case and a cute little stuffed animal zebra came with it too :) My daughter is loving on that ;)

First I will start with the Zebra Z-Mulsion EX Ballpoint pen. These are NICE. Talk about top of the line in pens! They write so smoothly and effortlessly on paper. They feel great in my hand and I find I like these the best, because of that. These pens are a revolutionary combination of oil, water and pigment that is seriously so smooth feeling when you are writing.

The next pen I just love is the Zebra Sarasa Rollerball Retractable Gel Pen which is also a very smooth writing pen. This is a really vibrant gel water-based ink that is acid-free and is great quality. This keeps your documents clean-looking and professional. It has a see through barrel, that allows you to see when your ink is running low! Love that feature. Another great pen that not only writes well, but feels nice in my hands.

Can you believe that Valentines Day is going to be here in no time flat?! I am shocked at how quickly times flies, just shocked. Valentines Day is one of my favorite holidays, not only because there is goodies involved, but because I love creating things with my kids and Valentines Day is all about making cards to give to your friends and loved ones!

Me and my kids received the HearthSong Valentine Making Kit to review! We got started on it the next day and boy did we have some kind of fun and then some!!! This is a great little kit with everything inside to make adorable Valentines Day cards, envelopes and more!

The Kit Comes With:

• 30 sheets of 9″ x 12″ construction paper (15 red, 15 white)
• 24 white heart-shaped doilies
• 12 red heart doilies
• textured tissue paper (in red, white and pink)
• 32 full-color floral hearts
• pages of stickers
• Colorful glitter
• Glue stick

Plus I received lots of fun stickers and decorating chalks to make some real masterpieces and make we did!!! It was so much fun letting my kids go crazy with their imaginations! Each young cousin of my kids, got a gorgeously decorated Valentines Day Card! We are shipping them out soon as they all live far away from us. I think they will love them!!

 

The decorating chalks are super fun and I love that they come with two little applicators to use and that the chalk comes in a plastic case. So, when you are all done, simply snap the plastic case shut, and store it! Anything easier for me is good!! The only “messy” part of this kit was of course that glitter. So, I was in charge of the glitter :) But, I had so much fun with the glitter I ended up getting it on my floor anyways, LOL! So worth the fun though!!

This kit also comes with a how-to-make Valentines Book that shows you how to make Valentines and the envelopes, we did not use that book as you can see. The kids just used their imaginations!

I’m Not Bored Anymore Art Jar From The Land of Nod (Giveaway!)

Every one who has a child knows those words “Mommy, I am sooooo bored” but yet they have 12,898 toys laying around.. sigh!

Especially during the winter months, they can get really bored, being stuck inside the house. I try to get my kids outside as much as possible, when the weather allows, but that is becoming less and less as the winter progresses.

Clementine Art Review & 3 Giveaways!

Clementine Art Review

We received the Natural Paint set. It is a set of six paints that are colored with Mayan mineral Earth pigments. They are long lasting, washable (which is a huge plus!) and natural. When the box came in the mail, my kids were so excited to give them a try! I set up a little bench outside on the lawn, grabbed some paper, brushes and a little thing of water and we were on our way to a fun filled, art inspired afternoon with our new Clementine Art natural paint!

I love that these paints are natural, a big thing when it comes to little kids, because of the safety issues with other paints. My kids had an absolute blast with these paints. First they painted the papers, and mixed all the colors together and then they painted rocks and then they painted… ME! Oh, that was fun.. haha! I let them paint my arms, then quickly washed it off. Even though it is all natural, I did not want it on my skin, and yes, it rinsed right off! It got on my sons shirt and daughters shorts and it came out of my daughters shorts but not so much in my sons shirt. But that is OK, it was an old tshirt anyways :)

Clementine Art Natural Paint Review

The paints are long gone now, but boy were they fun. They lasted about two painting sessions with my little ones, but they are little and love to use every last drop of anything fun and colorful. For older children, this would have lasted a lot longer. They are nice sized jars of paint and have a lot of paint in them. They are a great price too, at only $13.99 for the set. The only thing I wish they had come with was a paint brush or two.

Limited Editon Dentyne Bottles Review & A Giveaway!

Have you seen the new limited edition Dentyne Bottles? The artist, Anthony Yankovic designed them and they are pretty cool. I received two bottles of the limited editon Dentyne bottles. The gum inside is the same flavors of Dentyne, the difference is the container it comes in and the design on that container/s.

I really liked the different design on the bottle. The bottle itself that it comes in was kind of bulky for me. I like real compact things, afterall, I am a Mom with a diaper bag full of “stuff”! So, I was not all that happy about the size of the gum bottles, but my husband loved them! Guys like big things anyways, right? He also noticed the design right away and really thought that was cool too. But, the thing I did like about this bottle, was that I can reuse it! I can put snacks in it for the kids or use if for paper clips or something like that, because the design is really cool. This is not a container I would want to throw away. Also, when you open the container, be sure to be extra careful when opening the plastic at the top. If you are not careful you will rip the cool design on the Dentyne bottle, I did that on one of mine.

So, all in all this is a great idea. Some people may find it too bulky, me, and some may find it just perfect, my husband. And, you can reuse the container!
