Well, I was sent both of them to try out, so I know first hand, how soft and silky and nice smelling they leave your skin!!

I loved both the scents and so I cannot tell you which one was my favorite, as they both were. The Tropical Twist is a mixture of lime and grapefruit and smells so nice. I love the little moisture beads that are in this body wash too! Those really help to deliver moisture to my skin. The Coconut Island Bliss is heaven!! It smells so nice and gotta love that coconut in there!!!

We always have Softsoap products around our home. I just have always liked the brand. They smell great, clean good and are always coming out with a new scent or product!

The new product they have now is the delicious Strawberry Smoother Body Butter wash, YUM! It smells soooo dang good, I want to eat it ;) It smells like strawberry shortcake, it seriously does!

Since summertime can take its toll on your precious skin, with swimming, being outdoors in the sun and going to the beach, your skin can dry out! The Softsoap Strawberry Smoother Body wash not only smells dreamy, it is a very creamy, moisturizing body wash, that soaps up nicely on your skin with little moisturizer beads in it,  and rinsed off nicely (no yucky residue left on my skin like some washes leave), leaving my sun-kissed summertime skin, soft, moisturized and smelling oh so good!!!

Cons?

It did not really exfoliate my skin, unless I used a loofah with it, but it certainly helped my skin maintain moisture and left it super soft.

Softsoap Liquid Handsoap with APHA Hand Washing Timer Review & Giveaway!

Winter brings on the flu season, and it really sucks. Any way at all, to help me and my family to prevent any virus or flu bugs from getting to us, I will welcome! Washing your hands is a key part in preventing any illnesses. It is so easy to do, but many of us just don’t wash for long enough!

Lather Up For Good Health!

Softsoap Liquid Handsoap now has a APHA Hand Washing Timer!!! The timer is so easy to put onto your Softsoap pump. It is made from silicone, so it easily slips over the pump of your liquid soap dispenser. When it is on, your children (and YOU!) just press down on it to dispense the soap and right away a song starts playing. As long as that song plays, you rub your hands together and wash them. When the song is over, rinse the soap off your hands and your good to go! This helps your children and you, to wash your hands for the appropriate amount of time needed to wash off and kill those bad germs. My kids love this device and think it is so neat. They have a race with each other, by saying, as soon as the song goes off, who can wash the soap off their hands fastest! So cute and fun!

*NOTE: Yes, my daughter is on the counter, but I am RIGHT there with my children. Just did not want any bad, mean comments..*

The soap smells so clean, this is my favorite scent. We, as you can see from the pictures, received the ever so loved Spongebob Square Pants! So that was a big hit too! The timer does come off sometimes though, and I have to put it on again, other than that, this is a great idea!

Start early.

Research shows that children as young as three can grasp
the importance and techniques of proper hand washing.
Make hand washing fun!

Play games and sing songs while lathering up. Give kids a monogrammed towel for drying. You can find more good ideas in the Resources area of this page.
Skip the bar.

Lead by example.

I had the opportunity to review 3 of the newest Softsoap Body Washes and the Colgate Kids Oral Care Line! What a wonderful package this one was :)

I love being able to pamper myself, because I NEVER get to, so when I find a second too, it is so nice to have such wonderful products to indulge myself with! The Softsoaps I received were:

I absolutely LOVE them all. But my favorite scent is the Black Orchid & Velvet Hibiscus!! Think of a freshly cleaned newborn baby!! Ohhhhhh I love it! They all make my skin feel so soft, and I use them also as a bubble bath for myself!! Foams up great for that!

Next, my kids received the following from Colgate Kids:

For my daugher: Dora the Explorer Toothbrush and paste

For my son: Bakugan toothbrush and paste

These toothbrushes are battery powered and my kids love that. They enjoy brushing their teeth, but now with these new brushes and paste, they are very excited to brush every morning and night too!
