HTC, T-Mobile and Give Kids The World Team Up to Bring Smiles to Children!

 HTC and T-Mobile announced they are partnering to provide children with life-threatening illnesses and their families the opportunity to spend time at Give Kids The World Village, (a nonprofit “storybook” resort that provides cost-free Orlando vacations)!

So, starting Friday, Nov. 23, through Monday, Dec. 31, customers who buy the  Windows Phone 8X by HTC  from a T-Mobile authorized retailer, will have the option to donate $1 of their purchase to Give Kids The World to help the total donation grow up to $75,000 with the potential to grant wishes for a multitude of families!

My hubby grabbed this one up to review, I hardly ever get to review these sorts of things as he loves these kinds of reviews :) The first thing he liked was the color and sleekness of this windows phone. He likes it sooo much better than the Droid he has right now, so this is his new go to phone!

This phone was definitely designed with style in mind. It is not only nice to look at but using it is very easy to do too. The new Windows Phone 8X by HTC boasts an iconic design, studio-quality sound with Beats Audio™ and incredible camera capabilities, they are awesome!

Plus, if you have small children like us,  this smartphone runs Windows Phone 8 operating system from Microsoft, which includes features such as Kid’s Corner, a worry-free way for parents to share entertainment on their smartphones with their children. And, with a simple swipe,  activates a protected place on the phone, where kids can play with applications and features selected by the parent! Also, the  new Rooms feature allows you to create a private network for chatting and sharing photos, notes, calendars and other conten,t with a close group of people. So many features on this phone!

The phone has a nice,  4.3-inch super 720p HD display and also has a curved back to it, that feels so right in your hands! The beautiful blue color is very nice too! Just a very attractive phone.

The Right Cellphone for Grandma, Grandpa! Clarity Pal Is Here!

Do you have grandparents? What about grandparents that are hard of hearing and would still, love to speak with you and others on the phone? Poor grandparents, what are they to do, if their cell phone that they do have, does not have a great volume on it? That is where Clarity Pal comes in :)

I was able to review the Clarity Pal, just in time for the holidays! And now, I get to share with you all! Are you excited? Thought so…

We opted to buy a SIM card from our service provider and then we bought prepaid minutes, to try out this phone. That was easiest for us.

The first thing I noticed about this phone, was the big buttons that are super easy to see and press, for older people. The Pal offers amplification, security, and ease of use. It could be a great gift for older Americans who desire the mobility and safety a cellphone offers but don’t want the features or the monthly bill of iPhones and Androids. And really, even though I am not elderly, I really like the prepaid phones as I don’t really use my cellphone a lot anyways. I only use it in the case of an emergency. So, yes, I like the Clarity Pal :)

Vtech InnoTab 2 (Review)

We love Vtech around our home, that is a given! We have lots of cool toys from Vtech. We recently received a new gadget from Vtech, the new Vtech InnoTab 2!!! It comes in white and pink :)

Oh how my children fought over this one, wow. I ’bout lost my mind! But, when my son went to school, my daughter got to play around with it with no distractions from big brother.

Both of my kids LOVE the InnoTab 2!! I even LOVE it! It is so neat and has so many wonderful features to play around with. Wow. It has a rotating camera, video player, e-reader, motion games, cartridge library and downloadable content! Like I said, lots of fun stuff!!

 

It was so funny, the first day my kids used it, they figured out the video maker/player on their own. When I went to bed that night, I took the InnoTab 2 to check out on my own, and laughed so hard at the videos they made together. It was HILARIOUS. Give children a video camera and watch their imaginations go wild, seriously!!! Awesome stuff. The video player and the camera has to be their most favorite features on this gadget. They can spend hours on making videos and going around the house and taking pictures, heck, I even was in some of those pictures and videos and did not know it! Little stinkers!  Videos can also be downloaded and played back on the InnoTab 2 Learning App Tablet!

Just a few nights ago, I downloaded two games (you get two free credits with this to get two free games or e-books!!!) and I also purchased some e-books for the kids, I let them pick. You have to install the disc it comes with to get those two free credits, I learned that the irritating way, LOL. I then transferred the games and e-books to the InnoTab 2, which was kind of irritating too, because my computer froze and I had to redo EVERYTHING. I thought that I had paid and then lost my e-books and games, so I was very  irritated for a bit until I figured it all out AGAIN. Ugh. Other then that, it was pretty simple to do.

There is already a game on the device when you get it. And it came with a cartridge that has some fun stuff on it too, like the alien game. My kids LOVE this game because it is a game, that shows your home (in the camera mode) and you walk around and you have to capture all the aliens, well the ones that match a certain pattern. My kids love it because it looks like aliens are really in your home!! Way too cute!!

When your kids use the camera, they can save and edit the photos using wacky special effects, stamps and more. The camera rotates from back to front to capture the action wherever it is happening. This is another great feature! My kids enjoy taking photos and then dressing them up with hats and other fun things!!

The e-books are super cool because the stories come to life on InnoTab learning tablet for kids through interactive, animated e-books that offer story narration, character voices, animation, vivid graphics, sounds and music. So,my kids want to continue reading and looking at these books, because they truly are so much fun!

Motion games are pretty cool too. My kids have fun moving the  InnoTab 2 around to play the games! This helps kids develop the skills of using touch apps including tap, flick, and drag-and-drop, just as their parents do with their iPad(R) or other touch-screen tablet devices.

VTech’s download library on Learning Lodge Navigator has hundreds of games, apps, e-books, music, videos and more to purchase and download! The Learning Lodge Navigator lets your child play, learn, and explore (with more content coming this Fall). We have a lot of fun browsing this and finding new games and stuff to purchase!

Anyways, so much to talk about but those are the main things! My kids really love the InnoTab 2 and it certainly keeps them busy while helping them learn!! Makes me happy!
