Ever have something totally adorable to wear out, but when you put it on your body, it is NOT how you envisioned it? Ya, that would be me, all the dang time, sigh…
What is a girl to do?? There are MANY many shapewear products on the market and to be honest, I have reviewed a few of them. They all seem to do what they say they will do, but certainly not as good as the claims made. Lose 10 pounds by putting on shapewear? Well, I would not believe that one. But I would believe it when they say “lose 2-3 lbs” that is more believable to me.
I recently received the Body Wrap Shapewear The Catwalk High-Waist Capri to review. I am pregnant now, so my body is constantly changing. So as soon as I received the shapewear I tried to put it on. Now I say TRY, because that is all I could do, LOL. I got them too small, dang it! So, I gifted them to my niece who gladly accepted the responsibility of reviewing them for me.
They fit her PERFECTLY. She said that they pulled up nicely and she did not have to tug to hard to get them up and in place. She said they feel comfortable, like a really really thick pair of nylons. Since these are high-waist capris, they not only cover your tummy area but also all the way down your leg. They are pretty seamless and look pretty nice under a long skirt, capri pants or jean/slacks. But, she said, since it is summer now, she will probably wear them more when the weather turns colder as she would be way too hot to wear them right now.
