Have You Ever Had a Psychic Reading Done? (My True Story!)

Have any of you ever had a psychic reading done?? I ask this because I totally believe in that kind of stuff and yes, I have had several done before!

Before I got pregnant with my newest little one, you all know I had a VERY hard time getting pregnant. Nothing worked. I had numerous IUI’s, fertility treatments and tried most anything and everything out there to no avail. This went on for about 2.5 to 3 years. Nothing. Nada. Zilch. Blah. It was heart wrenching. I had a miscarriage in those few years of trying too and that was really hard on me. All together I had lost 3 little ones…

So, I was becoming increasingly desperate. Not only was my age a huge factor in ttc, but I only have ONE fallopian tube too now, to work with. It seemed like NOTHING was on my side for a third child..

So, naturally I turned to a psychic to do a reading for me. I ordered one online from a well-known psychic that many other ttc women were turning to, for support and some comfort.

It only cost me $5 bucks so what was there to lose, right? I paid the $5 and immediately the psychic contacted me through email. She asked me a few questions than got right back to me with my reading.

It was unreal how accurate this particular reading would become… I look back to when I first received the reading and could see some things then, but now that the WHOLE picture has already happened, it is UNREAL at how REAL this reading was…

I will explain…

In my reading, it said that I will have difficulty trying to conceive (ttc). I will need help with ttc. I DID need help!

Next it said I have experienced losses and that has made me very scared and full of anxiety (again, true). Then it said that I will be having a boy next (just gave birth to a boy!). But, the psychic told me that I would experience a loss before the baby was born, but maybe I did not know that yet, she said..

My father in law passed away VERY unexpectedly in April of last year (a year ago on the 19th...). ONE week later, I found out I was pregnant with THIS baby. She was right again…

She then said in the first trimester, I would be very sick with morning sickness. I was EXTREMELY ill…

She said this baby would come in December/January.. my baby boy came at the end of December!

She also said that my labor and delivery will not go as planned. Ummm.. I had my baby in less than an hour from when I got to the hospital. Forty minutes to be exact. I pushed him out, without an epidural mind you all, NATURAL, in about 7 minutes. The doctor who was delivering my baby was just pulling into the parking lot!!!! Ya, my birth plan/delivery was  NOT expected to go this way! LOL..

Then she said that the numbers 3 and 21 kept appearing to her. Well, this was my third baby so that made sense to me. But the 21 I could NOT figure out… until my mom and dad came to visit me in the hospital and they said “This is our 21st grandchild!” OMG!! That is where the 21 came in! Soooo weird!!

The Psychic also said that there MAY be another child ‘out there’ for me, but it is unclear. It would be a girl and it would be VERY close in age with the baby I have now.. SIGH. That has yet to come true and I certainly hope it will not, LOL. I don’t think I could handle that right now. I feel we are done having kids now. I feel complete..

At the end, she said that I would be a hermit for a while. When I think about that, I think that I am a hermit right now. My baby cries all the time, and is colicky and has acid reflux. That makes it really hard to go out very much because I never know when he will be fussy and just cry. So, yes, I am a hermit right now.

So, what do you think about my Trying to Conceive psychic reading I had done??? Isn’t it eerily right on??? I am a FIRM believer in this kind of stuff. I often feel like I have some super natural powers too.. I sense things sometimes, it is weird and then they come true some times! I think we all have a psychic ability, we just have to know how to tune into those abilities..

Anyways, that is my true story and I have been wanting to share it with you all for a while now!

More Update(s) On Me :)

So, I know the last update I had about me was about me hoping I was pregnant with my last IUI. Well, ended up NOT being pregnant, but what else would I expect? I mean it has not happened for all 7 IUI’s, why on earth would it happen then?

Already having two kids, certainly does not make trying to conceive any easier. Yes, I have two wonderful, BUSY little miracles, but why on earth can I not have ONE more? I have questioned God and everyone for a LONG time on this. I just did not understand why I was unable to have baby #3...

All of this stuff really takes a toll on someone, it really really does! TONS of emotions, tons. So, all of you people out there, that have been through infertility, or are going through it now, still, I will say a prayer for you. Stay STRONG.

Now, my update…

So, after the 7 IUI failed I was beyond devasted. Our insurance was up and we were going to have other insurance, but not as good. Me and hubby decided that that was our last attempt at trying, with medical assistance, to have another child. So yes, it was HARD. Very hard..

So, April we took off. I did not chart, I did not know when my most fertile days were going to be, I knew NOTHING. I had some left over Fertibella that I had given to my friend, and she became pregnant, so she gave me the remaining pills. So, I decided, what the heck, why not take ‘em..

I decided on a WHIM, to go and buy me some pregnancy tests, afterall it was a monthly ritual for me to buy about 10-50 a month anyways, so it would have felt WEIRD to not buy any. So, I bought me some.

I decided to take one the next day, and of course I had NEVER taken this particular brand before (it was the Answer Early Test STRIPS). After the time limit (10 minutes) there was a faint faint faint pink line… Mmmm.. kay? I took the rest of ‘em, (yep, sure did) and there were FAINT pink lines on ALL of them, but after the time limit, GRRR.

So, I did some research online about them and talked to some gals and everyone said that they take a while, like after the time limit to even show any line if you are pregnant. So, of course that made me SUPER curious. I remembered that e.p.t had recently sent me some digital pregnancy tests, but I had them buried because I KNEW I would never  need them, EVER. So, I found them in my cupboard and decided to go ahead and pee on one, why not..

I went to tend to my kids and when I returned it was STILL showing that dreaded timer symbol. Then, all of a sudden “Pregnant” pops up. OMG. Are you flippin’ serious?! We barely had sex this month (TMI but TRUE…). NO medical help, no pills or shots? No way. No way.

So, I took another one, and SAME thing… Man, I was a bawling FOOL that night. I am PREGNANT. For now, right now, today, I am pregnant and that is all that I know. I am so happy, thrilled and beyond shocked. After three years of trying SO. Hard. Then this? LOL. Alright, I will take it!

My first appointment is on June 5th, and HOPEFULLY we will see a baby in my tummy. I have had 3 losses, so the first trimester is always ruined for me, in terms of being able to get too excited, but this one feels different, a GOOD healthy different :) I am happy :) So so happy!!!

Since finding out, I have been entering EVERY single baby giveaway on the net, and hoping I will win them all, LOL. I have also been searching the internet on great deals on baby products and finding Net voucher codes or any codes that will help me with buying baby clothes, gear and goodies and save me some money!

e.p.t Early Pregnancy Test (Review and A Giveaway)

If you read my blog frequently, you all know my troubles with trying to conceive our 3rd child. It has been THREE years now and nada. Blah. My last update about me was soooo hopeful, after all, PYSCHICS said I would conceive in March ;) But, I did NOT. Oh man last month was HARD for me.

It was hard not only because my 6th IUI did not work, but because it was the last month with the medical insurance that we have now. So, we are switching insurances and I am sure it will not be as good as our old insurance was. Oh well. God does not want me to have another child, I will just have to accept that.. Am I bitter much? Ya, just a bit..But I will be alright, I ALWAYS am.

Anyways! Onto the e.p.t. review and giveaway :)

e.p.t pregnancy tests are great tests. I usually will buy these tests when I get a line on a dollar store test, that way I don’t waste my money on a good test :) I like that the digital e.p.t.’s will keep the words on their tests (though I did NOT like seeing the words “Not Pregnant” staring at me from the trash can, ugh!). But, if I had been pregnant it is nice to save that test that says “Pregnant”! Also, their regular tests are easy to read as they have the “cross” if you are pregnant and just the line if you are not. Kind of takes the guess work out of figuring out if you really see that line or not.

e.p.t’s website is very helpful too. I like that it has information on how to discover ways to increase your chances of conceiving. Also, you can grab a $2.00 off coupon (which is VERY  nice when you buy pregnancy tests ALL. The. Time.). Don’t know when you are most fertile? e.p.t.’s ovulation calculator can help you with that! You can enter the first day of your last menstrual cycle and your average cycle length and it will help you determine when you will be most fertile. This is a very helpful tool. Also, keep an eye on your body and tune into it, only you really know when you are ovulating or will be. This tool is just to help out.

 e.p.t also just announced their new iPhone app! It is the e.p.t Ovulation Calculator for women looking to find out when they are most fertile and track their menstrual cycle. This free mobile app is designed for the iPhone and comes with 35 helpful fertility tips as well as the option for email or calendar reminders on the day before expected ovulation. LOVE this.

I was not able to review this ttc kit only because I am using fertility drugs to help in my journey in ttc again. My friend started taking the Fertibella immediately, when she received them from me in January. Her cycles have always been all over the place and ovulating was hard to determine. Fertibella is a natural aid (kind of reminded me of Fertilaid) to helps boost a woman’s fertility level by stimulating ovulation. It is said to be safe and an all-natural solution with no side effects. So, the first month my friend took the Fertibella, she said, her cycles started regulating AND she said she thinks she felt ovulation pains! She had more cervical mucus than she had in a LONG time, so she was soo happy!! Her and her hubby have been trying to conceive for almost as long as me and my hubby (me almost 3 years, her 2.5 years). She is thrilled that things in her cycle are starting to make sense and that she is having symptoms of ovulation! This is her second month using Fertibella and though she did not get a positive test result on a pregnancy test last month, she is super positive about this month! She said she has not had any side effects, bad ones, but she has had positive effects to Fertibella and that is great!

Now, I did do some research on the web and have noticed some complaints about Fertibella. Let me explain to you. Fertibella has a free trial promotional offer. This is where they offer a 30-day limited promotional offer to allow moms-to-be the opportunity to try the product before they buy it. For people who decide to cancel, they are never billed. The company said they go to great lengths to help their customers, and go the extra mile to ensure the best possible customer experience. And while that’s reflected in their A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, it’s also the nature of the Internet, that sometimes, a frustrated customer can say any number of things, and it’s beyond their control. You do have to give your credit card number and you HAVE to remember to cancel BEFORE the first 30 days AND send back your bottle(s) BEFORE the 30 days is up. IF you don’t, you WILL be charged on your credit card. Many people did not understand this and therefore there are some bad reviews on Fertibella. Just follow the rules and everyone wins. End of story!

I also have to say that the larger pregnancy tests that come with this kit (NOT the smaller ones, they seem to be accurate), can be deceiving. I say this after taking all of them some of them and seeing a FAINT pink second line. It was on all of the tests that I took. I even went to the store and bought First Response because I was so excited, but all of those were negative, no line :( So that kind of broke my heart a bit.. So, I don’t recommend those pregnancy tests and if you do see a line on them, please back it up with another test just to be sure. False hope sucks! But, these tests are good if you are a poas (pee on a stick) a-holic and want to pee on things when you are only 3 days past ovulation, LOL. All you trying to conceive mama’s KNOW what I am talking about! Ha!

14 Years Later And…

Dax,

I still love you as much as I did when I first laid eyes on you! Happy Anniversary to my best friend, lover, companion, partner in crime and soul mate. I love you so much and am so thankful for YOU and all that you do for me and our sweet, precious babies.

You are so hard working and I appreciate all that you are doing to make our family comfortable, happy and content. I am so happy that I met you so soon in my life, (Middle School!!!), and that you were a part of my life even before I “knew” you were the one…

Thank you, for putting up with my craziness, my trying to conceive mess, going out at night to buy me 200 pregnancy and ovulation tests, because I needed them…

 

Thank you for making me laugh through my tears…

 

Thank you for showing me that I can do things, I just have to try harder..

Thank you for giving me this wonderful life, where I can stay at home with our babies and be with them..

Thank you for giving me these wonderful little kids that make my life, OUR life, so much more worth living…

Infertility?

Am I headed down that road? Yes, I have two little babies, and I am so thankful for them, so very thankful. We would like to add a third baby to this family though. We have been trying for 11 months now, to no avail. I have never had a problem with conceiving before, heck we would say we wanted another baby and the next month I would find myself pregnant. It was easy getting pregnant, hard to keep them inside of my tummy, but I managed with my two little miracles…

To understand my situation, you would have to do some research on ME. You can read up on me and how I almost lost my daughter by going HERE. After you read that, you might understand a bit better. I only have one tube now, and that does make it a bit harder for me to fall pregnant, I know that.

I went to the doctor Monday, and my doctor is referring me to a fertility specialist. Now, I have done EVERYTHING to become pregnant these past months, not just the “have sex” method, but temping, OPK’s and yes, cervical positions and the other stuff. So, I know when I am ovulating, I just can’t seem to catch that egg…

Just read my story. I have had two m/c’s and almost lost my daughter due to the doctors at Kaiser. I am so upset and tired of this whole ttc thing. I KNOW there are MANY women out there who don’t have a child at all, and yearn for one so badly. I am sorry for your pain. I pray that every women who does not have a baby and wants one so badly but can’t see to become pregnant, gets a pregnant belly SOON. I am not saying I am not thankful, because I am. I just don’t want to think that because of someones mistakes, I could no longer be able to even have a chance at another child, again.

I will keep everyone updated on my journey, and praying it won’t be another year before I see “pregnant” on a test.

Ovulation Takes Place On Camera! Trying to Conceive & More!

Warning: Might make some sick to look at, but, this is what our female bodies do, so amazing!

I recently came across this VERY cool picture of a human egg coming out of the the ovary. I thought this was truly amazing to actually be able to see it and see it clearly! Take a look for yourselves!

Isn’t this amazing?! Now, if only I can catch my egg this month, ugh! Easier said then done! I am now on month 6 of trying to conceive. We temp, I do the basal body temperature thing EVERY morning, I take my prenatal vitamins and I excercise and drink plenty of water. That use to be enough, but I guess not anymore :(

 

I also use Preseed. Preseed is a sperm friendly lubricant that works with the sperm instead of against it and attacking it and killing it. It is the only known lubricant that is sperm friendly! I used it with my pregnancies and now ttc. It usually gave me my BFP’s (big fat positives), but this time it is taking us longer, sigh!

I love the website Fertility Friend. That is where I chart my trying to conceive journey, and I have met a lot of wonderful Mama’s along the way! If you are trying to conceive, I definitely recommend them.

 

There are so many ways people will tell you, to get pregnant faster. Like some people swear by the Sperm Meets Egg Plan (SMEP). Or, taking soy or taking Evening Primrose Oil Caplets or grapfruit juice to help with cm (cervical mucus) and sooo many more! Hard to keep up! Whoosh!

Anyways, just wanted to share my journey and different things I have learned along the way and of course those awesome pictures above! Wow!
