Sweet Leaf Bath Review

Please Share!

I love handmade soaps, shampoos, candles, you name it, if it is homemade I love it! Sweet Leaf Bath Co., has many wonderful items that are all are handmade in small batches using natural, organic and Fair Trade Certified ingredients.

I was sent the 6 oz. Java Bean Scrub to try out and review. I love body scrubs, I always have. When this arrived I was eager to try it out. I used it the following night in my bath. I had my two kids in there with me, so it was not a time to indulge, lol, but I got to experience the scrub. When I first opened up the jar, the smell of coffee literally filled the whole area I was in, whoosh! Not an unpleasant scent by any means, it was nice. When I started scooping some out to put on to my skin, I was very thankful I was in the tub! It is quite messy and does turn your water a bit brown, because after all, it is coffee 😉 After scrubbing it into my skin, and rinsing it off (had to stand up and rinse off thoroughly) and dried off, my skin was totally soft. And when you do exfoliate, it makes your skin absorb lotion better, at least with my skin it does. So I slathered on my body lotion and loved sliding into my p.j’s because my skin felt so clean and soft! Yes, the coffee scent does go away!

What do I like best about this Java Scrub? I like that it has caffeine in it. Caffeine is known to improve circulation and helps to improve cellulite, so yes, I really like this scrub 🙂 I also like that a little goes a long way. As you can see in my picture, there is a small dent in the scrub, and that small amount covered me from head to toe! So, it is well worth the $17.95 it costs. This will last me for a while.

Dislikes? I have one. I don’t like how messy it can get. But that is the only dislike that I have. After all, I am in a bathtub anyways, right? But you will want to rinse out that bathtub after using this as you would using any body scrub.
