Clinton Kelly is the style expert for Macy’s and a co-host of TLC’s “What Not To Wear”. He says “Macy’s Million Dollar Makeover is His Typical Makeover on Steroids!” Imagine that! I would say so, with that much money to be won! Wow!! The winner will not only get quality time with Clinton Kelly, but will also walk away with a truly life changing experience. Just imagine, from fashion, finances and fitness, you will get a life changing transformation!!
You man submit your entries online at http://www.facebook.com/Macys?v=app_127966423934872 from now until January 31st, so you might want to get on this and share it with your friends and family too!! Who wouldn’t want to win this?! Entrants must “like” Macy’s on Facebook and will be required to submit a photo or video.
In February, 8 contestants will then be chosen and will undergo a makeover session with Clinton! Each contestants personal story and makeover will be shared on Macy’s Facebook page for an open voting period that starts in March! Two videos will be posted each week and the video with the MOST votes, each week, will proceed to the semi-finals in April. Then, the top two videos will compete in a finals round. The winner? You got it! They will get the $1 million dollar makeover!!!!!!!!
This is open to legal residents of the United States, who are 18 years of age or older.

Well, DESERVE is a whole lot different than NEED! LOL!
I deserve it because I forget to put me first before the hubby, 6 kids and 3 grandkids. I have put myself on shelf for 9 years because of health issues and figure I dont NEED a nice wardrobe, accessories, make up, etc. But I am finding that to feel good on the INSIDE, you have to take care of and be proud of yourself on the OUTSIDE too. I guess ONE dollar of gift card for every year I am old now would be fair right? (I just turned 50 in Nov and am still in shock about that.)

I would like the opportunity to be a contestant for the Macy’s Million Dollar Makeover because I feel it would be a boost to the next stage in my life. I have moved to South Carolina from California 3 years ago. In this short period, I have faced many challenges, such as grieving the death of both of my parents, colon surgery, and juggling finances with the economy. Thus, my dream seems to get further away from me. However, the makeover will allow me the confidence I need to breathe life into my dream.
I recently tried on various coats at Macy’s. When I got home I wondered have I let my coats hide my wardrobe because my clothes no longer reflect the new person I am. From watching What Not to Wear, I have seen how clothes, hairstyle, and makeup can come to life on a person because how they show that person’s flair for life. I would be thrilled to see how Macy’s selections can transform me.

I have lost weight due to my choice to better my health. I have thrown out sizes that were too big for me. Too, I have thrown out styles that no longer refelect my style I see for myself. Thus, I am at a perfect time in my life not only to shop for a new wardrobe but to have a makeover of a lifetime.

I have always been uncomfortable calling myself “deserving” of something (I should probably get some help for that!) but I would certainly be much appreciative of it! Having lost a significant amount of weight, I’m having to buy an entirely new wardrobe. During the process of losing weight I stuck with cheap clothes because I was dropping sizes so quickly. Now that I’ve stabilized I’m looking to purchase some nicer, higher quality clothing. Macy’s certainly has that! I especially love their Clearance section. I could get a handful of pieces there for $50!

Why do I feel I deserve to win this gift card? Do I deserve to win it more than anybody else? No. What do I say? I love Macy’s? I enjoy your blog?
