I have been thinking of purchasing this device, but did read a review that stated that the photos that are backed up are not original quality, is this true? I would want to backup my full size original photos from both Flickr & Facebook.

They look fine to me. Maybe if they are printed out, they will lose their quality though. I have not tried that.
Was this image size the same? Did the file size shrink? I read somewhere that it downloaded thumbnails? Not sure if it is true though.

The fact that it backs up all of my data uploaded to FB.
I never rember to copy all those photos locally and his solves that.
I like the fact that it doesn’t need another power source.
