Keeping My Daughter’s Baby Blanket New Looking
When both my babies were born, I seriously wanted to cherish EVER single moment that they were tiny and new. Everything down to the clothes that they wore!
That meant tons of pictures and lots of Dreft! The pictures were easy. I was ALWAYS taking them. I still am!! It helps having a blog too, because us bloggers are ALWAYS snapping pictures of our kids! And we get to talk and share about them too. That is one of the reasons I got involved in blogging, was to capture my kids funny, cute and not so cute memories!
I also had some favorite outfits I would have my babies wear. For my son, it was pretty much everything he wore. So keeping those clothes clean, with spit up and blow outs, it could be tough! But with Dreft, it kind of made it more easier for me. With my daughter, she did not have a true outfit I wanted to hold onto, but she did/does have a blankie that is sooo special! And that, is something that I will (and she will!) hold onto FOREVER. So, taking care of it has become very very important to me.
Washing this beloved blanket can be tricky. I don’t want to wash it with all the other laundry and I want to keep it as new looking and SOFT as possible. My daughter and son, have horribly dry skin due to eczema, so using a great detergent on their clothes is very important. This is where Dreft comes in. Ever since my babies were little and new, I have been using Dreft to clean their clothes and things. Nothing else will do.
Dreft Laundry Detergent is mother-trusted and Pediatrician-recommended. Dreft is specially formulated to be gentle on baby’s skin and tough on stains, bringing cuddle time to a whole new level of warm and fuzzy. It also smells very nice!
My daughter is now 4 (almost 5!!! They grow TOO fast :() and her little pink blankie is still as nice and soft as the day she got it, minus some wear and tear!! This blanket will always be cherished, just like my little ones pictures!
How do you protect and keep safe, your child’s favorite outfit, blanket or special stuffed animal? Do you use Dreft too?
Whether you’re a first timer or the greatest, grandest mother of them all, there’s on thing moms have agreed on for over 75 years- Dreft makes your little one’s fabric feel as clean and soft as can be.
