I have always wanted a food dehydrator! I was so excited when I was sent one. This is only a holiday feature, so no I have not tried it out yet. This post will only talk about its features, not my personal experiences with it.

    I like that it has 3 racks.. I have a large family would love to make food in bulk that way we have it… I also love that its energy efficient because the bills seem to be going up and up.

    Accurate temperature controls are so important. Plus, the fact that you can dehydrate many foods at the same time. This is such a healthy way to go!

    I like the two-stage sequential temperature timer. I’m a backpacker, and to be able to dehydrate my food would be great for my meals on the road/trail.

    i love that it has a dual fan. I had a dehydrator once that had just one fan on one side and I had to constantly rotate the stuff inside to make sure it cooked even!

    I’d feel guilty if it used tons of energy, so I’m glad it’s energy-efficient. And oh yes–like the others, I love the “fast” mode.

    I like that it has the perfect way to dehydrate foods with a higher water content. Using the Fast mode for the first few hour and then it switches automatically to Raw mode. This would be great for dehydrating all the extra tomatoes we have in the late summer

    I love that it can auto switch the digital controls. I also love that it has silicone baking sheets (and so many of them). In addition, I love that it’s energy efficient with digital controls.

    There are tons of things I really like about this dyhydrator… I like that it is digital meaning it has settings forr different things. The older dyhydrators (cheap plastic ones) it’s a game of hit and miss not so with this. I like it has Silicone Drying Sheets included- this is nice, the cleanup would be so easy compared to the plastic ones.
    I have a plastic one and am an avid gaardener. I dry tomatoes quite a bit in the summer and I can tell you it is a mess when it comes time to clean!

    I love that it has a fast mode. We use our dehydrator every summer but it is such a basic model and takes forever.

    I’ve been researching dehydrators for a few months now. A cousin bought one and has used it to dehydrate vegetables from his garden, fruits that he’s bought, and he makes THE BEST kale chips. Having made kale chips by drying them in the oven and seeing how he makes them…it’s preferable to use a dehydrator than making them in the oven. It’s DEFINITELY cheaper to use a dehydrator to make your own dehydrated fruits, veggies (and YUMMY kale chips) than it is to buy your own in the store. I’m exploring incorporating raw foods into my diet, and I appreciate how the dehydration process retains almost 100% of the nutritional content of the food. That alone makes buying a dehydrator worth it’s weight , because if you love to cook and use it often, using it will pay for it in no time at all given how much buying the equivalent of what you would use (veggies and fruits) would cost to buy at the store!

    I haven’t had any personal experience with the Tribest Sedona Combo Food Dehydrator, but I have looked at the features it offers, and honestly, it is hard to choose only one feature. I remember when I was a little girl and would peek through the stove window and watch cake and cookies rise. I absolutely love that the Tribest Sedona has a transparent glass door so I can watch the dehydration process. While I love that feature, one feature I love even more is the timer. I set the easy to read digital controls/LED timer, walk away, and after whatever you’re dehydrating is done, the Tribest Sedona will turn off on it’s own. How much easier can it get! No worrying, no watching, no having to check on it. 🙂

    Finally, if I have to choose the one feature I like most….I love the fact that owning a Tribest Sedona Combo Food Dehydrator is a quality, well made kitchen appliance that is a tool that can be used towards facilitating a healthy lifestyle. Owning the Tribest Sedona would enable me to preserve fresh, nutritious foods at own home for a fraction of the cost. I could make large batches of tomato chips (sliced Roma tomatoes with garlic, a little oregano, a dash of Himalayan salt, and a dash of Parmesan cheese), rather than making small batches on occasion in the oven (and having to watch carefully so I don’t burn them).

    I love that it comes with 9 drying sheets and i love how this one looks. It’s much more advanced than the one my dad borrowed from me that i never got back.

    I like the “quiet operation”. I’ve not yet tried this product, and obviously the feature that I’d want it to best peform would be dehydration, but I also like that they recognize noise level as a feature. I don’t want it to sound like a tornado running in my kitchen.

    The dual timer so that you can start out at a higher temp and then have it set to change to a lower temp part of the way through the drying process.

    All the features are great, but the dual fan feature is a great plus with the dehydrating.
