Laughing Pizza CD and DVD Review!

Laughing Pizza is an energenic and fun filled songs for the whole family. I was sent their CD “Let’s Go Play” Laughing Pizza’s new album provides energenic, dance filled tracks, while promoting positive messages about families and being together, love and importance of being active.

Me and my kids enjoyed the CD. It was upbeat, fun and silly and they danced up a storm in the livingroom! I actually thought the songs were good and they did not annoy me like some children’s songs. The DVD was a different story for me. While my kids enjoyed it some, I did not like it. I did not like the rainbow bright clothes that they wore, but the music was good. That is my only complaint about the DVD.

Shannon Perry: "The Real Thing" CD Review

I received a copy of Shannon Perry’s new CD “The Real Thing“. I am always open to new music so this was great! Got the kids together and popped in the CD. The first thing I noticed about her music is that she sings from the heart, her voice is not too shabby either!

The songs that are on “The Real Thing” Cd are:

* You Are Incredible

* The Real Thing

* Bad Hair Day

* Keep On Pressing On

* Words Have a Way

* Long Way Home

* Before the Cross

* Make Me Aware

* Take What’s Yours

* Make Him Known

My favorite song on this CD is “Bad Hair Day” Love it! These are very inspirational songs and are from the heart.

A bit about Shannon Perry (most of it pulled from the Press Release):

Shannon kicked off her new women’s conference this month entitled “If The Shoe Fits”. Perry decided to use the events to support “Dress for Success” a worldwide charitable organization that promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing proffessional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. The Dress for Success boosts confidence to more than 3200 women annually!

The Real Thing features songs specifically written to fit in with the theme of the conferences. Shannon wrote most of her original pieces while waiting in the hospital rooms while her husband was undergoing cancer treatments. For four months following her husbands surgery, she brought her laptop computer to the hospital with her and while she waited for her husband she quietly cried out to God to help her with ways to help others and keep her focus off of herself and her circumstances at hand.

So, as you can see, her songs have such strong meaning and feeling behind them and that is what I like about her and her music.

Celtic Woman Music Cd Review & A Prize Pack Giveaway!!

I had the opportunity to check out some new music from Celtic Woman. I enjoy all different kinds of music, so this was neat to be able to take a listen and see what I thought!

All I want to say is this….

Oh My Gosh! Wow! I LOVE Celtic music anyways, hubby got me into that! But this cd is seriously BEAUTIFUL music! My favorite is the “Amazing Grace” Wow, just wow! I really did not think I would be all that much into this cd, but I am so glad that I had the opportunity to review it, because I would never have known it’s beauty.

You can watch “Amazing Grace” HERE. It is so beautiful! And another one of my favorites is “You Raise Me Up” So pretty!!!!

Celtic Woman will also be appearing on Live! With Regis & Kelly on March 17, 2010 (St. Patrick’s Day!) Everybody loves them, I am telling you! They are known and have many dedicated fans!
