During the summer, my skin tends to be all over the place! One day it will be greasier than ever, and the next day it will be completely dried out. Ugh. I never know which products to use! It can get pretty complicated real quick.
One product that worked last week, may break me out this week. Not fun! As I get older, my skin get more and more finicky! All I want nowadays is clear glowing skin, is that too much to ask for? So finding new brands and products to try is always so rewarding and helpful!

I found out about the brand HealthyDerm and they sent me some of their products to try out! Oh, my goodness, you guys! Reviewing beauty and skincare products is what makes my heart HAPPY (and my skin too!)! And? Their skincare products are pretty amazing! My skin is loving them!
Get Clear Glowing Skin With HealthyDerm Skincare
HealthyDerm is a skincare brand that makes grass-fed tallow skincare with clean clinical actives. Their products are made in the USA (woohoo!!!), and they are alcohol-free, oil-free, and cruelty-free! So nice!!!
Their skincare products are known for its tallow-based skincare. I was really curious to see how these would work on my skin. I mean, tallow skincare has been everywhere lately, and I wanted to know if it would behave well with my elderly skin! So, I dug right into that box of skincare goodies and gave them a try!
The Skincare Products I Was Sent:
Instant Tightening Eye Serum
The Instant Tightening Eye Serum was probably the most interesting product out of the bunch. I say that because it really does something to your skin when you apply it! Pretty neat! I will explain more below 😉
You only need a very small amount, about half a pea-sized amount on your fingertip. I gently patted a tiny bit under my eyes. I found that lightly dabbing and patting it into my skin worked way better than rubbing it, only because of the product and how tender the under-eye area is! Gotta be gentle!!!
After applying it, you’re supposed to keep your face still for about 3 minutes while it dries and sets. So yes, no smiling, squinting, or making weird faces in the mirror for a few minutes. Harder than it sounds, because sometimes I find myself ‘daring myself’ to do things I am told not to do, sigh. I think it is the OCD in me (and yes, I really do have OCD and I am not poking fun at those who have it, I am only poking fun at myself…)? Perhaps…
After about 2 minutes, I could feel the tightening around my eyes. It was kinda cool! HealthyDerm says the results can last around 12 hours and may help you look up to 20 years younger.
I’m not too sure about the whole 20-years-younger thing, but I do think it made my under-eye area look smoother and tighter. It also helped keep that crepey look at bay, which I am all for. So, yay for that!
I it before bed, but you can also use it during the day and with makeup. If you do wear makeup over it, HealthyDerm recommends using oil-free makeup and gently patting it over the treated area so you don’t mess with the tightening, lifting, and smoothing effect.

forehead lines
puffy areas on the face
So really, you can use the Instant Tightening Eye Serum anywhere you want a little instant smoothing. I wish they made this in a HUGE tube so I could use it on my bum, lol. It could use a lil’ lifting and smoothing, too. Shoot, now I kind of want to try it (and I probably will, lol, OCD in me, remember???).
Beef Tallow Body Lotion
The Beef Tallow Body Lotion is made with grass-fed tallow, but it doesn’t feel heavy or greasy at all. Yet it is super rich and moisturizing! I know when people hear the word tallow, they might think it’s going to feel oily and make them smell like meat, but this lotion actually absorbs really fast and has no scent of meat haha.
HealthyDerm says it sinks in within about 60 seconds, and I would agree that it absorbs in that amount of time. It didn’t leave a greasy film on my skin, so it didn’t rub off on my clothes or sheets, which is a big deal for me. I cannot stand feeling sticky after putting lotion on and having it rub off on everything I touch.
This lotion is made for all skin types and is fragrance-free, paraben-free, and mineral-oil-free. It also has chamomile and aloe vera, which are nice if your skin is sensitive or easily irritated, so it is kinda healing too.
I love how this feels on my skin. It is lightweight and moisturizing, and it helped my dry skin feel softer. It’s not one of those lotions where you apply it, and then five minutes later your skin feels dry again. My skin really felt softer after using it.
GHK-Cu Whipped Tallow Honey Balm with Methylene Blue
I was really excited about this one because, ya know, GHK-Cu is pretty popular right now. Well, in the skincare peptide world, but obviously in the skincare world too. It is everywhere right now! This is a balm, and it combines copper peptides, methylene blue, and grass-fed tallow in a rich whipped base.
HealthyDerm says the GHK-Cu helps support collagen, while methylene blue works as an antioxidant. The tallow helps support the skin barrier and keeps everything feeling nourished instead of dry or stripped of moisture.
What I really liked about this balm is that it made my skin look smoother and calmer. I have some delicate areas that can get irritated, and this didn’t make my skin red or uncomfortable. It gave me a pretty glow after using it, and that glow lasted for a few hours. And? the color is sooooooooo pretty 😉
My face, neck, and chest felt so soft after applying it. I like using this one at night as more of a restorative treatment. I apply it before bed so I can wake up with skin that looks glowy, dewy, and healthy. You can use it on your face and body, but I mostly use it on my face, neck, and chest area.
It only has six ingredients and does not have fragrance, preservatives, or essential oils, which I appreciate because my skin does not always love overly complicated skin care products.
Whipped Tallow Honey Balm
The Whipped Tallow Honey Balm is the original whipped tallow balm, but without the copper peptide. It is made with grass-fed tallow and raw honey, and it has only five ingredients!
This is more of a simple, nourishing balm that you can use in a bunch of different ways. It works as a moisturizer, a cuticle treatment, a lip balm, or a rescue balm for dry patches. Since it has no water, fillers, emulsifiers, fragrance, preservatives, or essential oils, it feels very concentrated. A little goes a long way.
I think this is a wonderful balm for keeping skin hydrated and healthy-looking. It helps replenish dry areas and gives your skin that soft, moisturized feeling without needing a million different products. I keep this in my bag! It is good to have when I am on the go and need a little moisturizer to help glow up my skin.
This also pairs really nicely with the Tallow Body Lotion and the GHK-Cu Whipped Tallow Honey Balm. The lotion is great for everyday body moisture. The Tallow Honey Balm is perfect for dry spots or simple barrier care, and the GHK-Cu balm feels more like a nighttime treatment for my face, neck, and chest.
Super Vitamin C Serum
The Super Vitamin C Serum is one of HealthyDerm’s best-sellers, and it is made with stabilized vitamin C, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, peptides, and bakuchiol.
This serum is made to help with dark spots, dullness, uneven-looking skin, fine lines, and hydration. HealthyDerm says you may notice more hydration and brightness within the first couple of weeks, while dark spots may start fading around the 4- to 6-week mark. Like most vitamin C products, this is not an overnight miracle thing, but more of a keep using it and be consistent with it kind of product.
I use this in the morning after cleansing. I apply 1 to 2 pumps to my dry face, neck, and chest area, let it fully absorb, and then follow with moisturizer and sunscreen. Definitely do not skip sunscreen with this one, especially if you are using vitamin C to help with spots and brightness!
I like that this serum also has niacinamide and hyaluronic acid because it gives you more than just vitamin C. It is a brightening serum, but it also has hydrating benefits. And the bakuchiol is a nice little bonus too, for anyone who wants the smoothing benefits that are usually in retinol, but without the irritation.
Overall, I am enjoying the HealthyDerm’s skincare products that were sent to me. The products are clean, simple, and work really well with my skin.
The Instant Tightening Eye Serum gave me the quickest visible result because I could actually feel the tightening effect within a couple of minutes. The Tallow Body Lotion was great for dry skin and everyday use.
The GHK-Cu Whipped Tallow Honey Balm felt like a beautiful nighttime treatment, and the Tallow Honey Balm is one of those handy products you can use almost anywhere. If your skin is dry, sensitive, dull, or just in need of some extra TLC, these are worth looking into.
