Today we are going to chat about the Nutra Complete Freeze Dried Raw Dog Food! And at the end of this post, you can enter to win a bag of this dog food! Plus, don’t forget to grab your FREE feeding guideline printable too! Yay!!!
Okay, now let’s get on with it! If you have a picky dog, then you KNOW how frustrating it can be to find food they will eat without turning their little noses up at it! Trust me, I know this struggle all too well with my adorable Pomeranian, Daisy!
Pomeranians are known for their stubbornness anyway, so she is just ‘extra-extra‘ lol. Daisy is the queen of picky eating. If something smells funny, is too big, or has a texture she doesn’t approve of, forget it! She’s not eating it. I even tried making her food from scratch! At least she liked that! But it can be time consuming!
And then there’s Mochi, our fluffy little guy with a BIG personality! He’s always ready to investigate anything that might be delicious! He is the literal polar opposite of Daisy!😂

We received 2 bags of the Nutra Complete Premium Beef Recipe 100% Freeze-Dried Raw Dog Food to try. I was excited to see what my two fluffy taste testers would think. And OH MY GOODNESS, you guys! The beef flavor was an absolute HIT!
Daisy & Mochi Give It 4 Paws Up🐾
As you can see in our adorable video, Daisy and Mochi were SO excited when we started filling their food bowl! Seriously, watching those two little fluff balls eagerly waiting for their food was the cutest thing ever!
And the best part? Even my extremely picky Daisy loved it! I was a little nervous about how she would react to the freeze-dried texture (you can also make it wet!) because she can be so particular about her food. But she surprised me! She happily ate the beef flavored food without any fuss.
Mochi was just as thrilled! That little guy has quite the personality, and his excitement around mealtime is always entertaining. I loved seeing them both enjoying something new, especially knowing the food contains ingredients designed to support their health.
It’s safe to say these two adorable Pomeranians gave Nutra Complete their official four-paws-up approval! Watch their video below! So darn cute!
What Is Nutra Complete Freeze-Dried Raw Dog Food?
Nutra Complete is a veterinarian-developed, complete and balanced freeze-dried raw dog food from Ultimate Pet Nutrition. It’s made with protein-rich meat along with fruits, vegetables, seeds, vitamins, and minerals to give adult dogs a nutritious meal packed with flavor.
The recipes are designed to help support healthy digestion, immune function, skin and coat health, energy, and overall well-being. What makes Nutra Complete different from traditional kibble is the freeze-drying process.
Instead of cooking the ingredients at high temperatures, the food is freeze-dried raw to help preserve nutrients and natural flavors. And judging by Daisy and Mochi’s reaction, the flavor department definitely gets their approval!
Nutra Complete Premium Beef Recipe
The Premium Beef Recipe contains protein-packed beef and 40 carefully selected ingredients, including nutritious fruits, vegetables, seeds, vitamins, and minerals. Some of those ingredients include blueberries, spinach, carrots, sweet potatoes, and flaxseed.
These ingredients help support:
- Healthy digestion
- Immune function
- Healthy skin and a soft, shiny coat
- Energy and vitality
- Overall health and wellness
I also like that Nutra Complete uses a freeze-drying process to preserve the food without artificial preservatives. And, of course, the most important test in our house was whether Daisy would eat it. And, she did so that was wonderful!
Serve Nutra Complete Wet OR Dry!
You can feed it dry or add warm water to soften the food. We served it dry because that’s how Daisy and Mochi enjoyed it, and they had absolutely no complaints! But if your dog prefers softer food, here’s how you can prepare it.
How to Serve Nutra Complete Wet:
- Scoop the desired amount of Nutra Complete into a non-toxic, heat-safe bowl.
- Add warm water using a 2:1 food-to-water ratio. For example, add ½ cup of water to 1 cup of food.
- Allow the food to soak for approximately 3 minutes.
- Gently stir and serve!
It’s that easy! Yay!!! You can experiment with the serving method to see which texture your dog prefers. And if you have a picky pup, having those two options is definitely a plus!
Use It as a Food Mixer
Nutra Complete can also be used as a mixer with your dog’s current food. Just replace a portion of their regular food with the appropriate amount of Nutra Complete.
This gives you another way to add freeze-dried raw nutrition and flavor to their meals without completely switching their diet. Just remember to adjust the total amount of food so you’re not overfeeding your pup!
How To Switch Your Dog To Nutra Complete
If your dog has never eaten freeze-dried raw food before, Ultimate Pet Nutrition recommends gradually introducing Nutra Complete over approximately 10 days. This is especially important for smaller dogs, including little Pomeranians!
A gradual transition gives your dog’s digestive system time to adjust to the new food. Follow the manufacturer’s transition recommendations, keep fresh water available, and pay attention to how your dog responds.
Many Delicious Flavors
Nutra Complete has many different flavors! In addition to the beef flavor, Nutra Complete also offers these flavors:
That’s quite the menu for our four-legged family members. I love the variety!
I can’t tell you how happy it makes me when I find dog food that BOTH of my Pomeranians eat and love. Mochi is always gonna eat it, but Daisy? She’s my tough little food critic! So when she happily eats something new without hesitation, I pay attention! The Premium Beef Recipe was a big success in our house.
They Carry More Than Just Dog Food
Ultimate Pet Nutrition also carries other products for our furry friends, including supplements, treats & food toppers, and dental chews. So, whether you’re shopping for a nutritious meal, a tasty treat, or another product to support your dog’s wellness, they have several options worth exploring.
