Anokha, which means “unique” in Urdu, was created to address the individual needs of different skin types. The key ingredients are derived from plants and active botanicals native to South Asia, including jasmine, rosewater, sandalwood, and neem.
I was sent the Anokha Red Sandalwood & Neem Clarifying Masque to review. The scent reminds me of prunes, you know the baby food prunes? LOL. It is a putty clay-like mask. But does not go on thick. It has little particles in it to act as exfoliants to help smooth your face. You simply smooth over face and neck once each week after cleansing and leave in place for 20 minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water. This is suitable for all skin types.
It left my skin feeling very soft and clean. I could tell from the first initial use, that is was a good skin care product just by the way it left my skin feeling. You also don’t need a lot of this stuff. A little bit goes a long ways and this is a nice sized tub, so it should last me a while. I also wanted to add that it did not make my skin hurt or burn. It was just a calming feeling on my skin when I had this on my face.
About the Masque (taken off their site):
The Red Sandalwood and Neem Clarifying Masque combines several highly anti-septic ingredients: neem, turmeric, tulsi, red sandalwood, and rose petal powder. Turmeric also contains anti-oxidant and
anti-inflammatory agents, and sandalwood decreases
inflammation while moisturizing.
