My kids went back to school on Monday, the 20th of August. They get out of school mid-May, so that is why they go back earlier than their friends back in Oregon and Washington.

Thank heavens, this year, I only have one child in grade school. She is in the 5th grade. My oldest son is in the 7th grade now and he is over at the high school now (small town things, lol).

So, thankfully this year, I did not have to spend an arm and a leg on school supplies! My 7th grader only needs a notebook and pen/pencils, so that was a relief on my pocketbook. I was also thankful that there was no back to school jitters this year, yay!
