Did you know that Colgate Enamel Health strengthens enamel 4x better? It helps replenish weak spots with natural calcium, for stronger, healthy teeth!
I was sent a fun mailer from Colgate Enamel Health. It was filled with some awesome products from Colgate Enamel Health, including their two newest products:
Colgate Sensitive Toothbrush + Built-In Sensitivity Relief Pen
Colgate Enamel Health Multi-Protection Toothpaste
Love these two new products and I was excited to use them!
Signs of Enamel Erosion
When the enamel on the teeth wears down, it can cause several things to occur:
- Teeth may become further worn down.
- Teeth become discolored because the enamel has worn away and the dentin is exposed.
- The edges of the front teeth may look transparent.
- Tooth sensitivity can occur when the enamel is worn away both on the lip and tongue surfaces of the teeth. The dentin, the layer of tissue under the enamel, is softer than enamel, and it is more sensitive to touch, air, biting forces and acid exposure.
My two front teeth do have some transparency on the corners of them. This really concerned me because I did not know why that was happening. Now, I do know why. I always hated that they were transparent, it is embarrassing!!
Now that I know WHY this is happening to my teeth, I need to take measures to prevent it from happening any further. Can you imagine me, with transparent front teeth or ANYONE, for that matter! Gah! No thanks!
