I am sure, as a parent, we question not only ourselves, but others, A LOT, about our baby’s safety. I am a worrier and tend to always think of the worst case scenarios, so yes, I am what some would call a ‘helicopter parent’. But you know what? SO BE IT.

How Do I Know My Baby Is Safe?

Good question! One way to know your little one is safe is by using a baby video monitor. When my kids were little, I used one all the time! First it was in their rooms, when they transitioned from my bed to their own room/crib. After that, the monitor became a great device to have on hand to ‘spy’ on my toddler when I was not in the room with him/her. Worked great!!!

My Friend Jamie’s Review:

Loving this monitor! The set up was super easy, just had to put a battery (that was provided) in the video half and then plug them both in and they were ready to go!

I liked the look and not too bulky or big for each half. The screen on the video side is super sharp and I can see everything with great detail. I can hear Paige perfectly if she was fussing or just needed to get herself back to sleep etc.

At night, the vision isn’t so great but that’s because it was darker and the screen was more scratchy to look at. But I can definitely still see what was going on. Thanks for inviting me to try this out, I love it!

    My fave feature is the Talk to Baby™ Two-Way Intercom. Sometimes baby just needs to hear it’s ok, I love that I’d be able to reassure her with this.

    Talk to Baby™ Two-Way Intercom i love the idea of being able to talk to my child without them seeing me cause i remember with my son he would wakeup instantly to the sight of me

    I love the Temperature Monitoring function. The nursery is air-conditioned and I am always nervous as to if it may be too cold. I also like the feature of adding more cameras for more visibility in various rooms.

    It’s really difficult to pick just one favorite feature! Of course, I am new to the world of modern baby monitors, so maybe I am easily impressed (this will be my first time around a baby since babysitting in my teens — think crackly audio-only monitors). This thing can seriously tell you what temp it is, and “see” in the dark?? I need to catch up 😉

    My favorite feature is the nightlight. I am always trying to take of my little guy in the middle of the night in the dark…it is always so hard. This would make that task a lot easier.
