I know you have done it before, we all have. We buy fruit at the store and then it gets really ripe and it is thrown out. I do this more than I would like to admit. There have been times I have used our ripe fruits in recipes, but what else can I do with ripe fruit?
With the Yonanas frozen treat maker, you never have to throw out your ripe fruit again. This machine is why you never have to throw out fruit again and I love my Yonanas!
I have given away on my blog, a few Yonanas machines, but I have never tried one until last week. I thought it was going to be another appliance that I would not use, that would collect dust and just be in the way. Once this machine was pulled from the box, I haven’t stopped using it. It certainly is a useful appliance in my kitchen and one that is going to be used constantly. It is awesome!
When you first pull your Yonanas from the box, you should wash all of the pieces of it. It comes, fully assembled, so just read the directions and pull it apart and wash it thoroughly. Once washed and dried, you can use it.
You will, though, need some frozen fruit! So, I recommend getting any fruit you have in your house, that is overly ripe (or not!) and freeze it for at least a few hours. It will tell you in the manual it comes with how long to freeze and how to freeze the fruits.
Once you have frozen fruits to use, turn on the machine and put a bowl under the spout part and start putting your frozen fruits, slowly, into the Yonanas machine. You will start to see the frozen fruits come out the spout and into your bowl. Soon after, you have a delicious, frozen dessert to eat up and no waste of over ripe fruits laying around your kitchen! Love this!
My kids and hubby devoured the frozen dessert quickly and they always want more, every day. So each day, this appliance is used. It is very easy to clean too. Just pull it apart and clean! I had wash mine and let it air dry on the counter before putting it back together again.
Now, I am just getting started with the Yonanas machine. I can’t believe all the yummy recipes for Yonanas, on their site! Oh my goodness, I can’t believe all the delicious treats I am going to be making from this machine!

We have one of these and absolutely love it!

Any mix with bananas would be worth trying! I buy them green so they are less likely to turn black before we eat them (and usually buy only 3-4at a time). Maybe a banana/strawberry or a pineapple/orange would be my picks!
