All About The Little Mermaid:
Rob Marshall, a visionary filmmaker, brings to life Disney’s beloved animated musical classic in his live-action reimagination of The Little Mermaid.
The film follows the story of Ariel, a spirited and beautiful young mermaid who yearns for adventure. Despite being the youngest daughter of King Triton and the most rebellious, Ariel desires to explore the world beyond the sea.
During her visit to the surface, she falls in love with the charming Prince Eric. However, mermaids are forbidden to interact with humans, and Ariel must follow her heart.
In a desperate attempt to experience life on land, she strikes a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, putting her life and her father’s crown at risk.
The Little Mermaid is directed by Rob Marshall, with a screenplay by David Magee, and produced by Marc Platt, Lin-Manuel Miranda, John DeLuca, and Rob Marshall.
