With four seasons to consider, there are a lot of looks you should think about to make yourself stylish for the particular time of year.
Hairdos, makeup applications, clothes, and accessories all play a part in determining the final look. The right styles can help be part of the current trends or make you stand out from the crowd, whichever you’re after.
Creating a Look for All Seasons
Short or Long Hair, Do Care
We’ve all heard the expression, short hair don’t care, or long hair don’t care. It seems to be a popular phrase girls use these days to say whether their hair is long or short at the time, they have no worries.
Whether you have short or long hair at the time, you should care. Short hair can prove beneficial during the summer months when it’s hot out, but you may want some longer locks in the winter when it’s much colder and your neck is freezing.
Rather than keep yourself covered up with a scarf at all times, you can look into extensions. That way, you can have your short hair don’t care moment in the summertime, yet have the long hair look during the winter months. Lumibloom extensions come in a variety of styles so every girl can get the look she desires.
Makeup Dos and Don’t’s
Just because it’s Christmastime, doesn’t mean you should have on a red or green shade of eye shadow. Think pearly and illuminating to stand out in the snow or light pinks and browns that make you look great while you cozy up by the fireplace.
During the summer you want to think about sweat-proof makeup options that won’t melt away as the hot sun beats down on your face.
An oil-free moisturizer and a layer of primer that helps hold in the makeup work wonders during the warm months. Some super stay matte lipstick also pairs well, since it has a strong hold that will last throughout the day, all while keeping your lips moisturized.
The time of day also plays a part in the makeup you choose. You wouldn’t want to show up at the office with smoky eyes and bright red lipstick that is perfect for the club. Keep it subtle and sweet while at work and go all out when you go out.
Summertime Style
Your summer style is going to be much different than what you wear in the winter. Summer is hot, which means you’ll need to keep cool by wearing a bit less than usual. Short summer dresses with flowery prints and bright colors work great in the summertime.
Winter Wardrobe
With cold weather comes longer clothes that keep you covered and warm. Most women skip the dresses and opt for pantsuits or pants and blouses instead.
Grays and greens work well in the winter to pair with the often cloudy cold felt during these months. Blue is an ideal color choice as well.
Creating a look for all seasons can be tricky if you don’t know where to start. Find the perfect combination of hair styles, makeup, clothes, and accessories for the winter, spring, summer, and fall and you will have a great look no matter when you’re out. Follow the fashion trends if you want to fit in or go the opposite way if you want to stand out.
