This post is all about Homemade Valentines Day Cards And Chocolate Covered Strawberries! I have been quite busy over the past day or so, whoosh! I have been feverishly making my son’s Valentine’s Day Cards for his class, along with a cute little thing for his teacher, AND I had to go and make us some chocolate-covered strawberries to nibble on as we sweat over these crafts!
First off, I searched the internet for free printable Valentine’s Day Cards/Crafts and came across the “Toad-ally Awesome” V-day cards and HAD to do this for my son’s class 🙂

Homemade Valentines Day Cards
A ‘lil closer look…
“Toad-ally” cute, right?!? I thought so!
I just used HP Photo Paper, cuz that is all I had, and then I went to 4 different stores last night, to find those froggies!! I finally found them at the Dollar Store, yay!!!
I then went to Picnik (which will be closing on April 19th for no apparent reason other than to irritate me I believe…) or you can now use Canva.com, and added the font that says “From Zaden“.

Chocolate Covered Strawberries
Next, I got it in my head to make some delicious chocolate-covered strawberries! The strawberries were SO big, red, and juicy at the store and the price was great!
So, I grabbed two plastic cartons of them, and then I headed to the baking aisle where I found something I had never seen before…
Baker’s Dipping Chocolate and it is microwavable!!! Why on earth have I not spotted this before?! It is my newest BFF! It has chocolate chips in it and you just peel off the top and microwave it until the chocolate is melted, easy peasy!!!!
Then comes the fun part! I just washed up those strawberries, dried them, and dipped them!!
I lined a cookie sheet with wax paper so that the berries would not stick, and once they were all dipped I placed them into the fridge to chill for about 15 minutes.
Oh. My. Goodness. They were GOOD. I mean it’s really good. Like I paid someone to make them, good! Mmmmmmm…
I am also making my hubby a homemade card right now 🙂 What are you going to do for Valentine’s Day? Anything special? My hubby will be working, so we will celebrate more this weekend!
“Happy Valentines Day!!!”
xoxo,
Kim

Oh my gosh! It looks delicious and those are cute Valentines, I took the easy way out and bought boxed cards for Gabe. I am sad, I bought strawberries with this in mind and most of them were bad 🙁 But tomorrow I am making chocolate covered pretzels, not as delicious, but the pretzels should still be yummy:)
