Who knew a set of kitchen knives could be so pretty! I recently received the KnifeSaga X4 Pro 15-Piece Kitchen Knife Set with a wooden block to review, and I have to say, this set is gorgeous! But pretty knives are no good if they can’t get the job done, right? Thankfully, these knives are more than just good looks! The first thing I noticed when taking them out of the box was how sharp they were! Seriously, these knives are sharp!
No, I didn’t cut myself and find out that way… I actually used them to make dinner that night, and I was SO impressed with how well they cut through potatoes, lettuce, onions, meat, etc.! Very nice, like slicing through butter!
They also feel strong, sturdy, and well-made. And the handles are soooo comfortable to hold and use, so that was also nice! They have a nice natural grip curve area on them. So they will comfortably fit any grip style or hand size, which makes holding them and prepping meals much easier for everyone who uses them.
The blades are made from high-carbon stainless steel and feature an ultra-sharp 10° cutting edge. They’re designed to stay sharp longer, which is always a plus because nobody wants to struggle with a dull knife while trying to make dinner! I hate that so much!
Another thing I appreciate is the assortment of knives included. You get everything from a chef’s knife and bread knife to steak knives, a paring knife, and more. There’s also a pair of super sharp kitchen scissors and a sharpening steel included.
I love having everything I need in one convenient spot instead of digging through my kitchen drawers looking for the right knife and getting sliced on my fingers because of it. Not fun!
The wooden knife block is made from solid acacia wood and keeps everything neat, organized, and within reach. And yeah, I know that knife sets in blocks with scissors isn’t anything new, but this knife set is just really nice and I love how it looks in my kitchen.
Caring for these knives isn’t too hard. And, one thing to keep in mind is that these knives need to be hand-washed and dried thoroughly. This helps keep rust away and to help keep them in great condition for years to come.
