*Learn To Play Piano Online With Hoffman Academy! This is a sponsored post.
I told you all about Hoffman Academy before, in a past blog post. My family is still using Hoffman Academy and we have finally learned how to play the piano! We are excited to share this with you.
Learn To Play Piano Online With Hoffman Academy!
Learning to play piano online with Hoffman Academy is quite simple. Hoffman Academy makes learning to play the piano so easy and SO fun. We received a credit at Hoffman Academy so that my kids could go through the fun lessons and learn how to play the piano.
Mr. Hoffman is the teacher and he is a fun guy. He makes learning to play the piano interesting and fun. Plus, at the end of each session, he does something silly! You just have to wait til the very end to see it. Mr. Hoffman is kind of like a Mr. Rogers, so funny!
How Does It Work?
Learning to play the piano does not have to be difficult. No more do you have to go to someone’s house and sit at their piano and have someone looking over your shoulder telling you how to play. Now you can have Hoffman Academy guide you through how to play the piano in easy, step-by-step guides and sessions.
Learn a new song or concept using their series of over 160 video lessons. The first song we learned was ‘Hot Crossed Buns‘. Mr. Hoffman even gives a little history lesson on where that phrase came from! This is designed with the absolute beginner in mind, their lessons will guide you step-by-step through everything you need to know to become a pianist. You’ll learn songs ranging from classical to movie hits. In the lessons, Mr. Hoffman emphasizes core musicianship skills like hand shape, staff reading, and music theory.
Master each new song and skill using their curated list of practice tasks. Following each video lesson, they provide personalized practice instructions to help you know exactly what to work on before going on to the next lesson. Practice tasks will help you drill new skills as well as review and expand on previously learned skills. On some of the lessons, there is a printable that you can print off to help you. So you can print sheet music and worksheets, and stream play-along audio.
You take your learning to an even deeper level with their sheet music and music theory worksheets which helps reinforce the learning in each lesson. Stream their professionally recorded audio tracks for listening and playing along with to give you the feeling of jamming with a real band or orchestra. I find this very helpful.
Games!
Who doesn’t love games?! You can earn points and train your skills using their interactive learning games which are a lot of fun. As you play, you will level up in four categories of musical development: staff reading, rhythm, music theory, and ear training. So much fun!
Hoffman Academy is a complete music education program and my kids and I love it. The Hoffman Method offers a complete foundation in music you can find online. You will become an empowered musician who can not only play piano but read it and understand it too.
Affordable!
We love the interactive online games, progress tracking, and daily practice instructions. I also really like that Hoffman Academy is affordable to any family. Hoffman Academy works on a membership basis now! Yay! For just $15 a month (and $9 for each additional student), Premium Members get to access these wonderful features and much more.
Plus, even if you don’t have a big piano, a keyboard will work too. We use our Casio’s Compact Grand Piano keyboard and it works perfectly fine for this.
