I am back, as most of you know 🙂 I got to be in a Proactiv Commercial Shoot!! You would not believe the awesome hotel that I got to stay in (with my Mom, of course!).

My Proactiv Commercial Shoot
As soon as we got to the airport, we went downstairs and there was a guy (Ryan 😉) holding up my name on a piece of paper (ya, felt super special from that moment on…)
When I and my Mom got into the van, there was another wonderful lady in there too, and her name was Kimberly too 😉 She was/is super nice and then we were off to pick up another girl. Her name is Heather and she was another hot Mama! Then we were off to the hotel!
It took about an hour to get there. When we did arrive, it was more than I had thought it would be. It was AMAZING! Here is where I stayed.
Someone came right to the door of our van and helped us out (but I still whacked my head on the van as I was getting out, not very cool…haha) and they grabbed our luggage for us.
We then checked in. I took pictures of our hotel room, but you will have to wait on that as it is my Dad’s camera and I don’t have the right hookups for it on my laptop… sigh!
So, I and my Mom went to our room. Oh my goodness it was NICE! It had two queen-sized beds with four posts, so nice 😉 The bathroom was great too. Nice soak tub and shower off to the other side of the bathroom.
The toilet was behind a glass door. The bathroom also had a t.v. in it (which I watched later as I took a hot bath ;)). I and my Mom then went and walked around the hotel.
We went first to the kid’s pool downstairs. Super nice. Then we found the “adults” pool upstairs through the day spa entrance. Oh my goodness, was that beautiful! I and my Mom sat at the table and ordered two YUMMY pina coladas.
At 6:45p, we all met in the lobby of the hotel to go to dinner with everyone. We went to MOZ and it was awesome! I could not believe the food that was at our table.
Every appetizer you could ever want off of the menu and then you were supposed to order dinner too! Haha! As we were all sitting around the table getting to know each other, I was passed an envelope, and inside was $150 spending money 😉 Oh ya! Nice! I met so many wonderful Ladies and everyone was sooo nice (and beautiful!!!).
I went to bed right after dinner, because the next day I had to be in the lobby by 6:45 am to go to the “Bachelor House” where we were shooting the Proactiv commercial.
My Proactiv Commercial Shoot and Pictures: It’s The Day!
The next day was indeed a BUSY day for us all! Hardly any sleep the two previous nights and now up and at ’em early! We get to the GORGEOUS house and get situated.
We were brought into the garage of the house, where all the food was being served. Anything and everything you could want to eat was there, all day long!
I did not eat much only because I don’t do breakfast for one and for another I was SUPER anxiety stricken (I get like that 🙂) and nervous, but good nervous!
We went into the house after eating and each of us started getting introduced to the makeup artists and wardrobe people 😉 Some ladies went off first to get their hair and makeup done while I just hung out in the dressing room area on a nice comfy sofa/bed.
I got to meet Sally and her brother, who were in charge of the wardrobe and helping us pick out our clothes. They were so sweet! I was then called in to get my makeup done.
I sat down and told White (I think that is how she spells her name?? I hope I got it right??) that I would like it if she did my eyebrows super quick, as I am so embarrassed because I don’t really have any! YIKES! She was good about it, haha.
I got my makeup on and then Andre did my hair. They both were so nice and sweet. Could not have had any nicer people I swear! Next, I went into the wardrobe room and got to pick out the first shirt I was going to wear on set.
After I chose that, I was whisked away outside to do my first shoot. Super excited, but nervous too!
I loved how I was treated and given water and was even fanned by someone and had my makeup touched up and my hair every few minutes (it was super hot outside and I was sweating so much!).
I just felt so important! Loved it! So, I filmed a bit out there with some products. Then I went back inside and waited around again. It was like that off and on from 7 am until about 8 pm!
Busy, but very interesting and FUN! I cannot believe how much goes into making a commercial, I NEVER would have thought it would take so many different people to make a commercial come together the way it does.
WOW! I literally sat in front of the camera for almost an hour at one point, just so they could get the lighting perfect! I did about 3 or 4 different things, which will be aired on t.v. during the day and an infomercial at night ( I think that is what they said.. won’t know for sure until about 6 months from now what pieces will be used from my takes and when it will be on! I will know when you do!).
That’s A Wrap: My Proactiv Commercial Shoot and Pictures
It was the very last interview. When my interview was over, I asked Jasmine about how I did not hear someone say “It is a Wrap!” She said they will when they are all done.
So I went to go and change my clothes and she came in and got me and said “Come here Kim” She took me to the next room and said that I could say it is a wrap… hahaha!
So, I said really loudly “Hey guys, it is a wrap!” Haha! It was great! I just wanted to share that part because I felt so cool!
It was such a wonderful experience, one that I am so happy I got the chance to be a part of. I was treated like a total movie star. It was so neat to hear everyone talking about stars too.
Like it was so normal to hear about Cindy Crawford or George Clooney in everyday conversation! It was so neat.
I also got to take home a shirt that I wore on the shoot, which was so neat! I have no clue what I really looked like on camera, but I will find out when it is aired in 6 months!
I get to see me when you all do! I am glad to have met Breanna, Tamra, Meeza (I think that is how I spell and pronounce her name) and Jasmine (I am HORRIBLE with names), but I did not forget the sweet girl with the baseball cap, I swear! I just forgot your name!
Oh, and Sally and her brother and Ryan and Andre the hairdresser, and White my makeup artist, and the other makeup artist, and Mr. Lieberman and all the wonderful, hot, ladies that I got to meet and have so much fun with.
I thank Proactiv for this wonderful opportunity! And not just because I will be in a Proactiv commercial, but I will say this because it is TRUE: Proactiv DOES work and if you do have acne, you MUST try it!!
When you see the commercial with me in it, it will show me the before picture, you will be AMAZED at the results I have received from using Proactiv consistently!
So, keep an eye out for me, in about 6 months. It will be during the day and at night 😉 What an experience!!! What did you think of My Proactiv Commercial Shoot and Pictures???? Tell me in the comments below!
PS: I will have MY own pictures up in the next couple of days! Stay tuned for those 🙂
