Our Living Room Is My Favorite Room In The House! The couches may be stained and drawn on, but my living room is still my favorite room in the house. I absolutely love our living room. It is cozy, clean, and homey.

We purchased couches around 3 years ago, still, have them and they are COMFORTABLE. Yes, they are a bit soiled, drawn on, and have various stains that I am not sure what caused them, but they are comfy!

Don’t get me wrong, I do clean (and even deep clean!) my couches, but the stains and drawings don’t come out… and I am okay with that!

Of course, that doesn’t stop me from looking for new furniture when I am out with my family! Last weekend, my family and I were out shopping (there were so many sales!) and we saw sofa chairs for sale. I have to admit, I was really liking what I saw, so we window shopped until I saw one I really liked…

Seriously, doesn’t that sofa chair look AMAZING? I am not sure I would ever get up if I owned it, though! And that woman looks like she is not planning on getting up any time soon either… do I blame her? Nope. Looks like this is her Favorite Room In The House too! Yay!

One of my good friends has a leather sectional couch and though they look really nice, they just feel cold to me and not very comfy. I am all about comfort and warmth when it comes down to it.  But, leather couches are very pretty sitting in a nice living room and it did look really nice in her home. It fit her and her style. It would stand out like a sore thumb in my home, though!

So, after a long day of window shopping, I realized that I am happy with my old, comfy couches. They look good in my living room, they have my kid’s drawings on them and they smell like us. You can’t get that with a new couch, now can you?!

Moreover, I absolutely adore my living room because of the great amount of light coming into the space. My couches are placed near the big picture windows with a huge glass area that allows for unobstructed, clear views outside.
