So, I just started playing Police Simulator: Patrol Officers on my Nintendo Switch™, and wow – I can’t get enough of it! For anyone who has ever wondered what it’s like to be a police officer, this game lets you jump right into the role and experience life on patrol in the fictional U.S. city of Brighton.
From walking the streets to chasing down bad guys in a patrol car, this game brings a whole new vibe to simulation gaming. We have been playing some fun games lately and have been having a lot of fun!

Police Simulator: Patrol Officers for Nintendo Switch™
Let me break down why it’s so much fun and why you might want to give it a try too!
A Fresh Start in Brighton
As soon as you load up Police Simulator: Patrol Officers, you can pick from eight different characters to represent you as you start your rookie journey. I love that you begin with small tasks, like handing out parking tickets on foot.
At first, I was like, ‘Parking tickets? Really?‘ but I quickly realized this is just the warm-up! As you level up, you unlock all kinds of responsibilities, and let’s just say things get a lot more exciting.
The game gradually increases the challenge level, so it’s never too easy, and you’re constantly learning. Each new assignment feels like a step up, and it’s really satisfying when you’re finally trusted to handle bigger situations, like apprehending pickpockets or even investigating crime scenes (my favorite!). There’s a serious progression here, and it kept me totally hooked. You can watch some of their videos on YouTube!
Chasing & Being Penalized! 🚓
As you gain experience, you also get to unlock a patrol car – and that’s where things get really fun! Chasing down speeders or responding to accident scenes in the patrol car is awesome. Each shift is unique, so you’re always in for something new every time you play.
Plus, if you make mistakes (like accidentally writing someone the wrong ticket – whoops!), you can be penalized, which keeps things challenging.
The first time I played this game, I was actually giving out too many parking tickets and was using my stun gun a bit too much, so I was fired. I was laughing really hard it was so funny and so much fun!
And if you’re into co-op gaming, you can even patrol with a friend online. Imagine teaming up to take down a criminal or solve a major case – it adds a whole new layer of fun!
Cool Content and Unlocks 🔓
One of my favorite things about Police Simulator: Patrol Officers is how much you can unlock. As you climb the ranks and play the game, you get access to new vehicles, tools, and precincts.
The extended version of the game even comes with six extra vehicles in the Garage Bundle, which includes some really cool patrol cars. Personally, I think this adds a nice touch – who doesn’t love switching up their car when they’re in the middle of an intense chase?
Realism with a Fun Twist 🎮
What’s great about this game is that it’s realistic but not too serious. You get evaluated based on your actions, so if you’re acting like a rogue officer, the game will call you out.
This keeps you on your toes and makes you think about your decisions. And if you’re a bit of a perfectionist, it’s really satisfying to get good feedback and keep unlocking more content.
Whether you’re playing solo or teaming up in co-op mode, it’s like living out a whole new career every time you log in. Plus, the developers have done an awesome job listening to community feedback, so every update brings new features, bug fixes, and a more smooth gameplay.
Should You Buy It?
If you’re into simulation games and want something that feels real but is still super fun, Police Simulator: Patrol Officers is totally worth it.
It’s available in the Nintendo eShop for $29.99, and if you want that extra content with the Garage Bundle, the Extended Edition goes for $34.99.
Both options give you a ton of value, especially if you love playing games that you can really dig into over time. You can also check out this game on their official website here. You can also purchase this game on Amazon! Yay!
Bottom line: if you’re ready to experience life on patrol, solve crimes, and keep the streets of Brighton safe, this game is absolutely for you!
