As a kid, my best friend and I would stay up SO late reading the book series “Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark”. Oh, my goodness, we LOVED that book!

I know I still do! So, when I saw that this book was being made into a scary movie, I was SO excited! How awesome is THAT???

Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark is out on Digital now! And, my kids and I just watched it last weekend. Oh, it is GOOD and very spooky! It certainly did not let me down! My kids thought it was creepy good!

What Is Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark About?

It’s 1968 in America. Change is blowing in the wind…but seemingly far removed from the unrest in the cities is the small town of Mill Valley, where for generations the shadow of the Bellows family has loomed large.

It is in their mansion on the edge of town that Sarah, a young girl with horrible secrets, turned her tortured life into a series of scary stories, written in a book that has transcended time. For a group of teenagers who discover Sarah’s terrifying home, the stories become all too real in this spine-tingling film!
