My kids love reading and they love getting new books. But recently, we did things a bit different. Instead of receiving books to review with my kids, we were sent a wonderful selection of books to donate at my kid’s school for Bingo Night! Yay!

Scholastic Presents the “Gold Medal Book List”

Scholastic Presents the "Gold Medal Book List"

The kids at school made a really cute bookshelf and they dipped their hands in paint and put their handprints all over the bookcase (it was so cute!) and then they filled the bookcase with books, movies and more, to auction off on Bingo Night!

Scholastic sent us a great selection of books to add to the bookcase! The bookcase ended up being auctioned off for $590!!!! That is wonderful because all the money goes to a new playground for their school! Yay!

The books Scholastic sent us were from the Gold Medal Book List! You can see them below:

Dream Big, Little Pig! by Kristi Yamaguchi (Sourcebooks Jabberwocky): ages 4–6

Olympig!: The Triumphant Story of an Underdog by Victoria Jamieson (Dial): ages 5–8

G is for Gold: An Olympics Alphabet by Brad Herzog (Sleeping Bear Press): ages 6–9

Isabelle the Ice Dance Fairy by Daisy Meadows (Scholastic): ages 7–10

Rainbow Magic: Olympia The Games Fairy by Daisy Meadows (Scholastic): ages 7–10
