What Is CBD?
Good question and one that I have researched! CBD is a natural constituent of hemp that has been shown to have positive health benefits without the ‘high‘ feeling or psychoactive effects.
CBD provides a legal alternative to medical marijuana. Since CBD has no psychoactive effect, it is a wonderful option for people looking for the benefits of cannabis products without breaking the law.
What Are The Benefits Of CBD Oil?
There are so many benefits to using CBD! Yes, I have used it before, and yes, it has helped me tremendously with my migraine headaches and neck pain. Finding the best CBD products doesn’t have to be hard! There are a ton of places to buy CBD so make sure you do your research first!
Neuroprotective benefits of CBD. A 2015 study found that CBD may be neuroprotective in adult and neonatal ischemia, brain trauma, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s chorea, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (Lou Gehrig’s disease).
Reduce Cigarette Cravings With CBD. A 2013 study found that in two groups of people who wished to quit smoking, those treated with CBD reduced the number of cigarettes smoked by approximately 40%.
Joint Pain. CBD was administered after the onset of clinical symptoms, and in both models of arthritis, the treatment effectively blocked the progression of arthritis.
Oil And Acne. A 2014 study found that CBD is a potent “universal” anti-acne agent that possesses the ability to reduce the occurrence of three primary types of acne.
Help Treat Diabetes. According to several scientific studies including Natural cannabinoids, such as CBD (cannabidiol), have been shown in research to have therapeutic possibilities in helping diabetes.
Anxiety Relief. I have used CBD Oil in the past for this very issue! CBD Oil has helped me so much with my horrible anxiety! It takes the edge off when I need it most. Generalized Social Anxiety Disorder (SAD) is one of the most common anxiety conditions with impairment in social life. In a 2011 study, CBD was shown to reduce anxiety induced by simulated public speaking.
And So Much More!
What Dosage Is Right For Me?
When I first started using CBD Oil, I had no idea how much I should take. After researching I found the answer. Since CBD Oil is non-toxic, it would be hard to overdose or ‘take too much‘ of it. However, taking too much of it might just make you really relaxed!
They say to start with the smallest dosage and go up from there. Every person and body is different and since this is a natural product, it will affect everyone differently. How much CBD Oil you should take depends on a lot of different things like; how much you weigh, your size, metabolism, what you are taking it for, the way you are taking it, etc.
Experts recommend starting with 5 to 25 milligrams a day and adjusting your dosage from there. The average person might start with 10 milligrams a day. Listen to your body!
And, of course, on the product itself, it will say how much you should/could take as well as any other directions for using CBD Oil. It should also tell you how much CBD is in the product. If in doubt, contact the manufacturer.
When I take CBD Oil, I take about 10 drops under my tongue, 3 times a day (I had 500 mg.). I let it sit under my tongue until it is almost or fully absorbed. It gets into your body quicker that way. CBD Oil, in my experience, is tasteless, unless of course, you choose mint or some other ‘flavor’.
For CBD Edibles, like gummies, you will simply divide the total amount of CBD by the number of gummies in the package. If that comes out to 5 milligrams per gummy bear, then you’ll need 4 of them to get 20 milligrams of CBD.
*NOTE: It’s very important not to confuse the package size with the amount of CBD in the package. A 500-milliliter bottle of oil could contain 100 milligrams of CBD or it could contain 1,000 milligrams of CBD. It depends on the strength of the product. I urge you to read the label or check with the manufacturer.
What Is CBD Vape Oil?
This was a new one for me, so I had to research this! I have never used the CBD Vape Oil and probably never will only because I just use the CBD Oil and that works for me. However, Diamond CBD makes some CBD Vape Oil and it sounds interesting.
CBD Vape Oils are one of the most popular ways to consume cannabinoid extracts. CBD vape oil is absorbed directly into the bloodstream through the lungs. This provides instantaneous effects. The CBD vape oil is meant to be vaped on its own. It contains high-quality, 100% natural CBD. The Vape pens apply heat to the CBD Oil making it evaporate and allow it to be inhaled by the user.
The CBD Vape Oil is not like smoking. The oil is a purified extract, unlike smoking where it has a ton of deadly toxins. It is important to do your research first, before trying anything. I am not a doctor and I have never tried vaping, so I have no clue how it really works or how well. Do your own research.
I am not a big fan of inhaling anything, so this would not work for me. I, on the other hand, benefit from using CBD Oil under my tongue, when needed.

I have never tried it yet have been curious. Our state is backwards.CBD is illegal, for some reason, an agricultural stae which at one time produced hemp for rope can no make the distinction between hemp and pot- go figure. Hemp here is considered marijuana , although there are retailers who sell it anyway.
