In this post, I will talk about training your dog with an e collar and my (and Miss Daisy’s!) experience with the Jugbow watch-style remote and collar! Keep reading to learn all about it!
Let me start by saying that obviously I’m not a professional dog trainer, but I am a dog mama to a super cute 14-pound (yes, she may be a bit chunky, but she loves her treats!) Pomeranian named Daisy!

And like most little dogs, she thinks she runs the whole neighborhood. So, when I got the chance to try the Jugbow Dog Training Collar with the watch-style remote, I was curious to see how it would help with her training.
How to Train Your Dog with an E Collar (Using the Jugbow Watch-Style Remote)
The collar is made for dogs that weigh between 10 and 120 pounds and have neck sizes from 7.8 to 24.4 inches. So Daisy was right at the low end, and it fit her perfectly.

Jugbow E Collar Easy Setup
This e collar and watch are really easy to set up. I’m not super great with tech, but the instructions were simple and easy to follow. Daisy was immediately curious about the collar and kept tilting her head every time it made a beep or gave her a vibration, lol.
It was the cutest (and funniest!) thing ever. Using a remote training collar like this makes it easier to get your dog’s attention and keep your training session on track.
Waterproof & Features
The watch has a touch screen and shows the time too, so that is another great feature. Having the controls on a watch-style wristband is perfect for people like me who lose things constantly! You can also wear the watch around your neck with a string or cord if you don’t want to wear it on your wrist.
I didn’t need to use the shock collar feature on Daisy at all (though we did test it on the lowest setting just to see how it worked).
However, the beep and vibration settings were more than enough for her. That’s the thing with e collar training, some dogs only need low levels to respond as each pup is so very different!
The range on this e collar and watch are great, up to 3300 feet. That means when we’re outside in our yard (which doesn’t have a fence), Daisy can roam a bit, and I can still keep her safe and close.
Having a remote collar like this gives dog owners peace of mind during off-leash training or when managing unwanted behaviors like excessive barking or running off.
It is also waterproof, which is important, especially in the summertime when there are sprinklers spraying in the yard! Miss Daisy loves to run through those!
*Helpful Tip: The shock button and selection button are placed on the side of the watch instead of on the main screen. So, when wearing this watch, sometimes when you bend your wrist, it might press the selection button that changes the settings on the watch or collar that you had preselected, so be sure to take note of that and wear the watch slightly higher up from your wrist. That helped to stop this from happening for us.
Battery Life That Lasts
You don’t need to worry about charging it every night, either. The collar can stay on standby for up to 35 days, and the watch remote lasts up to 45 days.
It charges in about two hours using the included USB cable. That’s a huge bonus if you’re using this during a regular training routine or while traveling.
3 Modes, So You Can Pick What Works Best
This collar has three training modes: beep, vibration, and safe static. Each has different levels so you can choose what your dog responds to best. I started with the beep and only used the vibration a couple of times when Daisy needed a little extra reminder.
E collar use can be a powerful tool when paired with basic obedience commands, verbal commands, food rewards, and lots of praise.
For example, using the beep or vibration when giving a new command can help reinforce desired behavior without needing higher levels of stimulation.
Start at the lowest settings to find your dog’s working level. That’s the level where your dog reacts but doesn’t show any signs of stress or discomfort.
The proper way to use any training tool, especially an electronic collar, is to start slow, reward good behavior, and stay consistent with your training methods.

All in all, Daisy and I enjoyed trying this dog training e collar out. Training her has been a bit easier, and the whole process feels way more fun and stress-free for us both.
