This post is all about Traveling To Dalhousie India. Believe it or not, I have never been out of the US. I have always wanted to visit other countries but just haven’t had the opportunity to do that yet.
I have been to other nice places though, within the US like Hawaii, California, Florida, Washington (lived there), Oregon (lived there), and Texas, but that is it!
I love learning about new cultures and people! I would love to travel the world one day, but certainly not right now! I have young kids to think about. Maybe when my kids are grown me and the husband will travel. That would be fun!
One place we have always dreamed about visiting is Dalhousie India. Dalhousie is built around 5 pretty hills and is located on the west edge of Dhauladhar mountain range of the Himalayas and is quite gorgeous!
All those hills and mountains, kind of remind me of all the mountains that surround us, where we live! It is just breathtaking!
Dalhousie India is a perfect place for you to travel so you can relax and just take it all in. This place is laid back and quiet more than anything. So do not expect to be living the wild party life while visiting here! And you know what? Peace and quiet are exactly what I need!!!
We mainly travel in the spring/summer time and I heard that during the summertime is the best time to visit Dalhousie India. It is quite humid there so visiting towards the beginning of summer is best.
If you visit in the spring or late summer, you will experience the heavy rainfall and you don’t want that! You will want to enjoy this beautiful land!
You do have to travel a bit to get to Dalhousie India though! This is not an easy place or a quick place to get to. I read that the nearest airport is not very close by, so you can take a train to get there! I think that would be a wonderful experience too!
There is so much history in Dalhousie India! From temples to beautiful Scottish and Victorian architecture, there are so many beautiful places to see here. I could take a full week to just take it all in and my goodness the pictures I would take! It sure sounds lovely!
Where Should I Stay In Dalhousie India?
There are plenty of hotels in Dalhousie India to choose from ranging from 1 star to your four-star hotels. If hotels are not for you, they also have two resorts in Dalhousie too. From the looks of these hotels though, I don’t think a resort would be needed!
There are 60 hotels in Dalhousie for you to choose from which is quite surprising to me because I did not think there would be that many! You certainly have a selection to choose from that is for sure. And, they all seem like friendly hotels to me.
The Grand View Hotel is simply stunning! This is definitely a luxury hotel. From the room you sleep in, to the gorgeous bathroom, this is definitely a hotel I would love to stay at in Dalhousie India!
It has a beautiful heritage property and is near the bus line for easy transportation when you need it. It is also close to the wildlife sanctuary!
Dalhousie India is definitely on my bucket list before I die. This is a beautiful place and I would love to visit it one day with my husband and possibly my grown children… one day!!!
A great way to get some extra cash is to sell things and start saving for your trip to Dalhousie India or wherever you want to travel to!
Go through your kid’s rooms and sell old toys, clothes or bedding that they no longer need/use. You can also sell your car online and get money that way too. There are a lot of ways to earn extra cash!
For now, I will continue to dream about this far away place that is called Dalhousie India! Have you ever been there? Would you love to visit there too?
