TripAdvisor Names Most Affordable Cities For Last Minute Getaways

It is almost the end of July, wow. Incredible how quickly time goes by, isn’t it? Soon kids will be boarding that school bus and going back-to-school again. Not ready for that again! Ugh.

TripAdvisor Names Most Affordable Cities For Last Minute Getaways Hawaii

For those of you looking to travel to some affordable cities this summer, TripAdvisor has some suggestions for you. You can plan a last-minute trip to a fun destination while staying on budget! Every time we travel somewhere we have a very strict budget to follow, do you?

TripAdvisor just announced the results of the annual TripIndex Cities cost comparison study revealing that New Orleans is the most affordable U.S. city for a summer trip. TripIndex Cities compares the cost of a three-night vacation during the summer travel period of June to September in 29 key tourist cities around the world. They took into account typical in-destination costs for two people including a four -star hotel for three nights, a visit to three attractions, lunch each day, an Uber or taxi to and from dinner each day plus the cost of dinner itself.

    The prices are amazing!! My husband wants to visit New Orleans with us. His Mom took him when he was younger and he has great memories! That would be a great trip for our family!!

    I would go to California to their drive thru safari. I have been to Wildlife Safari in Oregon a few times but the one in Northern California is supposed to be so much bigger.

    Atlanta would be the cheapest for myself. As I live 30min to a hour away. Lol never really considered going to the others. Been told I should give Vagas a chance.

    I’d like to go to Houston. TripAdvisor is a great resource for those who want to travel well. I also use them as a reference before we go to any new local, area, or state attractions. People usually give very helpful advice.
